I travel a lot overseas staying from midscale to high end hotels. This hotel is a gem with a retro vibe located in the heart of Flagstaff. We love the concept of having everything available since Flagstaff shuts down pretty early (21:00). The premises offer food, cocktail & game lounges as well as a relaxing exterior with pool and tub & fire pits lit at all times. We were on a ski trip and the breakfast we had every morning was unique and delicious. To top it off, the staff is friendly.
We will definitely come back!

I just wanna start by saying that the staff was very friendly and supportive.
But, this place was a nightmare to stay in. We stayed in the winter over the Christmas holiday, in Flagstaff, which was very cold. The heater ran all night long because the thermostat is up against the outside wall. It sounded like having a small plane engine running in the room!
As with so many newer, recently updated hotels we’ve stayed in the lighting was challenging.
No microwave so we went and bought one! Some kind of game being played out in the courtyard that was just a clack clack sound over and over and over again in the afternoon if you try to take a nap.
I love the idea that they have a sauna there, but you can’t use it unless you pay $50 and do their whole Nordic plunge thing which seems crazy because there’s no hot tub either.
I think they do much better if they just let people use the sauna through the day for a reasonable price.
So all in all we just found it so so.
But the beds were very soft and fluffy with down pillows and a down comforter. It was relatively clean, but pretty basic for what they amped up to be.

Gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. First and foremost, since I'm a designer/marketer, the branding throughout this property is just *chef's kiss*. Everything from the signage down to the parking pass is consistent, many may not notice this, but I know it takes a ton of care and effort to keep it consistent and do it well. So major kudos on that front!
The rooms were appropriately appointed, no frills but again nicely decorated and consistent with the vibe of the property. Appreciated the nice touches with unique coffee and tea options (vs. gross, stale K-Cups like most hotels). And lordy, the beds are top notch.
The property and grounds are well maintained and inviting. I'm bummed we only stayed one night, so we didn't really get to experience much of it, but we will definitely be back!

This is an old motel that has been revamped to a chic mid-century modern gem. We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to come back whenever we find ourselves in Flagstaff.
Their main lobby has a few areas to explore beyond the reception desk. There’s a cute market (fairly pricey), game room/lounge, and a bar. There is also a cute patio and outdoor area with fire pits and lawn games but we only strolled through that part.
We had a long day of fishing in the morning so it was perfect that their bar/lounge was a short walk from our room. We paid a pretty penny for our night at the bar but the cocktail/food prices are comparable to most restaurants where we are from. All of our drinks and our flatbread were delicious.
My only negative, which is not really a fault of the lodge, would be the train that runs at all hours behind the lodge. Our room was in the back of the lodge so I’m sure if you had a pool facing room the sound would be dampened more.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property!
Well appointed hotel. Great ambience in the gathering areas. Free game room and the Thursday night vinyl spin both winners. Location is convenient to many great places to eat.
Rooms were nice other than very noisy heat system. Bought a small fan to help neutralize the sound.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Definitely missed having a microwave. Never dreamed I would ever say that. But had fabulous leftovers we would have loved to have been able to heat!
Whomever designed the remodel, had fun. And it shows.
This does seem to be a place where people come with friends. Which is nice but, if you aren’t one of the crew having late night fun, it can be noisy
