We just got home from our stay at Opal Key. We had such a wonderful experience! We went for our anniversary and also a wedding. The location is unbeatable. With less than a five minute walk to Duval, it is truly unbeatable. If I could go back in time, I would have booked either a different view or a suite! I did really love our room, but I feel like it would’ve just rounded out the whole experience. There was some construction going on at the property, but we were delighted to know that the hotel was providing breakfast for guests to make up for this. What a wonderful surprise! The construction did change the overall vibes a little bit, but was hardly noticeable! Every single person I encountered on the staff was just lovely. I can’t wait to go back!

We loved the location and couldn’t be more convenient. The Parking garage on site allowed us to have our car safely kept during our stay. Yes it costs, but it’s the keys and when 2 hr parking can cost $28 it’s a luxury.

The location is absolutely perfect for walkability your are near Everything! Yet tucked away where it seems like you are no where near it.

Cruise ships do come in almost every morning. Which we enjoyed seeing. You are right there. The grounds are clean the breakfast provided was good, hot coffee, OJ, bacon, eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, fruit made to order omelets. The staples.

Our room was great, very large with a balcony over looking the pool and waterway. We would definitely stay again and are planning to.

Our stay at Opal Key Resort and Marina the week of Christmas 2024 was absolutely delightful. Our view from the balcony of Suite 380 was noteworthy at all times with sunset being simply other worldly. Access to Mallory Square and immediate access to the temporary restaurant facility during major facility-wide upgrades was unexpectedly easy and top notch. There was no impediment to a delightful visit resulting from work being done to improve Opal long-term. Parking was seamless with direct access to the vitality of old town Key West and Truman Annex. We were well taken care of in every way and look forward to future stays.

An absolute delight and treasure of a stay. Our room was exceptional. The staff phenomenal. The vibe wonderful. The service top notch. A huge shout out to Alex from guest services for going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience and there was no disappointment. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding! From the moment we arrived at this beautiful resort in downtown Key West, we were blown away. The room was absolutely spectacular—spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a breathtaking view that we couldn’t get enough of. It felt like the perfect romantic setting for our special occasion.

The service was top-notch. Every staff member went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and pampered. To our delight, they even surprised us with a bottle of Champagne, delicious chocolates, and a heartfelt card congratulating us on our marriage. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made our stay even more memorable.

The location was ideal, too—right in the heart of Key West, so we could easily explore everything the area has to offer. But honestly, we were so comfortable and well-cared for at the resort, it was hard to leave!
