Our favorite place to stay in Nashville. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the employees go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. We will definitely be back.

The only reason I don't give this hotel 5 stars is because of the $29/day valet parking fee. It is NOT unique to this hotel, but for some reason Nashville hotels seem bent on charging their guests to park on their property, whether it be self- or valet-parking. For that reason, I would not give *any* Nashville hotel that charges paying guests to park 5 stars.
The hotel does not offer self-parking, so be prepared to spend several minutes every time you leave the hotel to wait for a valet to fetch your car, and figure to add $40/day to cover the parking fee, tax, and tips to the total of your hotel stay.
That said, the hotel room was clean, modern, spacious, and everything we and our 2 children needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did enjoy our stay despite feeling gouged by this ridiculous parking fee that Nashville hotels appear to love.

Neat kitchen with microwave. Okay basic gym with slightly dated but fully functional treadmills, elliptical and stationary bikes. Basic free weights and slam balls. Nice touches include commercial wipes to keep machines clean, water bottle refill station. There is a small inside pool that looks like it could be 40ish feet in length.

super clean-walking distance to midtown restaurants, shuttle with 4 designated drops within 2 miles (if they aren't busy they may drop you other spots nearby if you ask)
we had a 2 bedroom suite-it was spotless. bed was very comfy. feather pillows aren't our favorite but they werent bad. the temperature controls in each side of the suite worked good (some hotels that is an issue!)
we really enjoyed our stay. Get to the breakfast early because it all gets old and cold quickly, but otherwise, everything was perfect

Beautiful hotel in the heart of midtown music city. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and conveniently located near some of Nashville's best restaurants.

Great location, nice rooms, fairly priced. The housekeeping wasn't consistent when I had room service. Sometimes I would get washcloths, sometimes not. Sometimes I would get dish towels and paper towels, sometimes not. Nevertheless, everyone was friendly. If I had to stay again, I would. The pool was ok, almost over chlorinated, but overall a good stay.

Clean, friendly staff, recently renovated and with a surprisingly good breakfast. The nice fact about breakfast is it never feels overcrowded. The adjoining hotel - also a Marriott property - has a nice outdoor pool. Parking is a bit pricey but its secure, safe and close. TIP - this hotel is walking distance to Hattie B's - the best hot chicken in Nashville.

Very nice hotel that has been newly renovated. It's modern and very cute music City decor throughout the hotel. Reasonably priced for downtown Nashville. Breakfast was included and much better than the average hotel breakfast. They had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and healthy options too!!! Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, etc.
One negative is that it costs $27/ day to park here.
My wedding guests all loved the comfort of the rooms and proximity to our reception hall (Marathon Village)

Perfect place to stay! Incredibly friendly staff and clean, well kept rooms. The location makes it cheaper and quieter than downtown but still close to everything. Take a run down music row and through the Vanderbilt campus. Definitely hit Hattie Bs Hot Chicken but order ahead for pick up to avoid the line.

Friendly staff. Great room: 2 bedrooms with a living room and full kitchen perfect for a family of four or more. Nice pool. Everything is clean and new looking. Free breakfast. Conveniently located just north of Vanderbuilt and a few blocks from downtown. Lots to see within walking distance but also provides free shuttle rides within a 2 mile radius.

Very nice hotel. Stayed in one of the suites and the rooms are very clean and roomy. Both bedrooms had individual bathrooms. Quality breakfast provided, and hotel is within walking distance to many of the hotspots of Nashville. Would visit again.

Very nice and comfortable rooms. The staff was great... The only complaint I have is with the shuttle, they will take you anywhere you want to go within 2miles which is great. However, the vans are hard to get in and out of. I have bad knees and I had a hard time stepping up into the van.

Best Marriott in the Nashville are. Rooms are a bit on the small and narrow on the hallway-ish side, but comfortable. Good broadband.

It was a very nice hotel. Either brand new or recently remodeled at the time of this post. Had a very nice hot breakfast in the lobby area. Eggs a protein bread choices, waffles, fruit n yougurt, oatmeal, and juices. The room was large with a medium kitchenette and a full size fridge. The only downside was that the hotel seems to share the building with another hotel and they are directly connected via some floors, and the indoor pool, gym, and bar are on the other side.

I have always enjoyed staying here. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We've never had a bad room. The breakfast could use a little help, but it is good. The one thing I would like to see is a safe added to the rooms.

My stay at the Marriott went pretty well. The hotel is around 30 min from downtown if you walk. We used the provided shuttle bus to go downtown several times. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The pool and gym are a nice touch. The "double hotel in the same building situation" is a little bit confusing.

Clean and newly renovated. Awesome room, great location! TV has apps for streaming (Netflix, Hulu, etc) built in, which I thought was a cool touch.
Price is a little steep, but that's par for the course in downtown Nashville.

Well, I'm on a work trip where I'm working long hours but the staff at Residence Inn are making it easier. They are extremely friendly and helpful. And the rooms are nice. I also like that you can use the amenities at both Residence Inn and Springhill Suites.

This property has some personnel issues. There appears to be some serious miscommunication about parking charges. Guests should be informed that overnight parking and valet parking fees both apply. So valet parking and staying overnight is $50 Also there were some pubic hairs in the bathroom. We travel a lot( platinum elite) type of a lot and this really set off red flags. Some personnel were awful but most were lovely. Those one or two jerks can really sour impressions.
Location was convenient, but there were significant problems

Great stay there last weekend, all in all a great experience at this Residence Inn on Hayes St. Convenient free shuttle service with minimal wait time and a great crew of drivers. Shuttle operates within 2 miles of hotel and Downtown Bway is within the radius. Quiet, comfortable clean room/suite and wonderful desk staff. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are nice and modern, but the lobby and entrance are lacking. It is attached to the Spring Hill Suites next door, and all of the nice amenities and lobby are in the Spring Hill side. The entrance for the Residence Inn is on a dark back-street. The entrance for Spring Hill is on an active major street. I would choose to stay at the Spring Hill Suites unless I needed the micro apartment-style at the Residence Inn in the future. If you do stay at the Residence Inn, I would suggest entering and exiting through the Spring Hill Suites side at night, the 2 hotels are connected on every floor.

Parking garage isn't built for cars and is bad at best for small cars. Room cleaning knocked after i arrived to my room after working a full day so i asked them to go away. I thought i left aomething in the breakfast area so i called before lunch to see if it was turned in but nobody picked up the phone at the desk or put me on hold till I hung up. So no, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. A first for me as Marriott is my go to hotel for business and I'm a gold member.

Stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. It's huge and very nice, full kitchen, cookware, plates and all. The view of the city was nice, staff has been awesome.
They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere in a 2 mile radius. The shuttle is clean and comfy, the drivers have been fantastic.
The breakfast is nice, but a huge selection, but they cover hot and cold options, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage and breads.
We didn't use the pool or fitness center but they looked pretty

Had a wonderful time during my stay. Walking distance from bars and restaurants and only a short shuttle ride from Broadway. The room was beautiful, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. Only thing I would say is it could use more trashcans. Staff was helpful, quick and welcoming. I will definitely be going back. Thank you.

Very well kept and modern hotel. Within walking distance of many great restaurants, breweries, etc. With a 4 minute drive you'll be back on I65 if you're travelling. Parking is not included, but at least there is plenty of it and it's easy to get in and out of the hotel parking. Very pet friendly. There is a non- refundable pet fee, but it is reasonable and everyone is very welcoming of your pets.

Like it! Good locale, staff, and accommodations!!! Just a bit odd trying to drive around to find where to check-in. However, discovering that the Self-Park was the same price as the $24/day Valet was a bit off-putting. The "$10/day" parking price is for non-guests who park for the day.
Still wish Marriott would get rid of the powdered scrambled eggs... :(
