Highly recommend to go for their Afternoon tea if you are only there for a very short visit.
They are happy to accommodate any dietary needs (allergies or vegan diet for example)
The Hotel also has plenty of unique little shops as well as a lovely garden.

Amazing. That's the best word to describe the enjoyment and warm felt stay I experienced here. Food was fantastic, staff was professional, polite and great to talk to. The Gentleman that served me my espresso martini was brilliant. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Afternoon tea was a lovely experience. Staff friendly and attentive to begin with however we had to ask for plates and knives for our scones after the others had been removed. Hence 3 stats for this upmarket hotel destination

Gorgeous hotel with fantastic facilities for adults and children. The rooms are huge and comfortable. There are so many places to eat and drink with cafes and restaurants inside. The swimming pool is really nice with children’s area, outside hot spa pool, quiet adults only swimming pool, jacuzzi tub, steam room and sauna. The restrooms are huge with lockers, bathrooms, toilets, vanity station fully equipped with hairdryer, lotion, tissues, cotton buds and cotton pads. Cleaned towels are ready available. There are water fountains there too. You can even get kids size (according to their age too) bath robes and bedroom slippers. This hotel has a huge gym and gorgeous spa too for adults. There is a huge den for the kids to play with a mini theatre, game console, table hockey, pool table, floor snake & ladder, scrabble, board games and etc. and clean toilets. Highly recommended hotel for both golfers and non-golfers.

Parking was easy. Service from arrival, check in throughout the stay including the restaurant and breakfast was faultless. Food in the Andrew Fairlie was excellent, room was great. Why only 4 stars then? A room, dinner and a few drinks for 2 people , £1200. It means I can't compliment the value for money, there are better value options in the 5 star bracket in Scotland.

Had Afternoon Tea here. Spread over 2 and a half hours, delicious array of savouries, sandwiches, scones and cakes in a tranquil setting. Very attentive and helpful waitstaff, great range of teas.

This is a wonderful hotel and charges accordingly. Great for a special occasion and we had a lovely room with a great view of the entrance, perfect for people spotting! We dined in the Andrew Fairlie restaurant which was an experience we won’t forget. Surrounded by beautiful scenery this place has it all.

Afternoon tea with my daughter's and friends. Lovely surroundings, friendly, helpful staff and the food was amazing. My daughter is gluten intolerant and the gluten free option at some places can be disappointing. Not so at Gleneagles. The gluten free selection was as delicious as the rest. It was a lovely relaxed afternoon. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

I had a spa day with my 2 ladies yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic.

Elle I would like to thank you for giving me the best full body massage experience, My friend Rena had a male Therapist and she can't stop praising him. Frances thought that her facial was okay as the young lady rushed the experience. Unfortunately for her Frances is the owner of her spa.

I had massage at many high profile spa and always felt as if I have been rub down with oils.
Yes Gleneagles is expensive however the service from all members of staff is very professional in all areas, definitely 1st class.

The only disappointment was our High Tea delivery, we paid for three and got two. Apart from that the environment and my friends was medication to the soul.

Stunning setting, beautiful interior. Incredible facilities... but some prohibitively expensive. Spa and massage was incredible. Outdoor pool a bit small but nice to visit.

Breakfast choices are vast but dissapointed by the quality of some of the meat produce. The fish and cheese and fruit options made up for it though.

What an Amazing day. Absolutely loved everything. Everyone was so friendly. My spa therapist Samantha was great! Would definitely recommend. The afternoon tea also had a superb amount of detail too.

Friendly staff, service was great and the staff were attentive especially when it came to my allergies. The views were breathtaking and the afternoon tea was absolutely divine. We were so impressed we went back for lunch and again it was just outstanding. World class experience. The staff make you feel like royalty. Absolutely splendid. Definitely going back. 💞😘😍

This is by far the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. What a beautiful place. Not one person had anything negative to say. Beautifully decorated and huge rooms. Fantastic views and a whole range of amenities throughout the hotel including shops, cafes, spa etc. The best place by far for a special occasion or just a weekend treat.

Excellent venue, the location is stunning and the service is second to none. We did have a few issues with our room (279) a good size family room. Main bedroom has a king bed with ample space. The second room was a sitting room / kids bedroom with sofa bed and a fold away second bed. Large bathroom with shower over the bath. The room has had some recent decoration but the sockets in the room did not allow the plugs to fit fully in, we tried with our chargers and the iron. This meant there was a gap at the back the plug (potential fire hazard) and they kept cutting off. (this was only noticed on the last night and reported on checkout). The radiator in the main room could not be turned down or switched off so we had the window open during our stay. And again on the last night we noticed that the bathroom floor was getting wet (for once it wasn't our two kids fault) the seal was missing from the bottom of the shower screen door. The child care facilities in the Glen and the little den are excellent and our kids (3&5) loved their time there. Again an excellent 5 star resort, only scored 4 stars due to issues with the room. (in fairness to Glenegals we did not give them the chance to resolve this during our stay, and would fully expect them to be resolved prior to them using the room again).

We stayed here recently for an anniversary and special birthday treat. From the moment we arrived we knew we’d be in good hands! The facilities are beyond fabulous and the staff are so helpful and friendly. We dined in their Strathearn restaurant and cannot have found fault with a single thing, even if we’d tried. As for breakfast.....you’re in for a delightful treat!! Excellent.

We only went to see some friends that were staying at the hotel. We met them in the bar area which was nice and spacious, good selection of drinks at a high price (£7 a beer, £12 25ml spirit and mixer), the girl running the bar was on her own and looked rushed off of her feet. The bar area is large with comfortable seating all around. Then they took us to the shops and spa. As expected the shops are all high end expensive items, but all very nice. It was quiet there with hardly any people at all. The spa looked lovely, with an outdoor heated pool and an indoor pool. The room was lovely and the bathroom was huge and well presented. His and her basin, white cast iron bath etc. They ordered breakfast in bed. Cold and hot breakfast.

This place is amazing. If you are ever lucky enough to stay there are so many things to do. Yes it's pricey but worth every penny. The golfing is out of this world and you are absolutely looked after. The food in the clubhouse is amazing.

Are lunch in the Birnham Brasserie. Nice setting, very nice food however the service was slow. Furthermore, the soup was quite watery and I felt a little robbed that it was £12. I have previously stated at the hotel and eaten there before and not had any problems. Fantastic hotel- the best I have ever stayed at.

Gleneagles is always an absolute pleasure, from winter to summer it's somewhere to unwind and relax in great comfort.

A luxury retreat for all of the family. I can't quite explain the pleasure knowing that from 6 to 65 everyone is having a blast. As my 8 year told me this morning, it's 'awesome'.

Wellies, boots, trainers and heels. The lack of pretence is a joy.

Great hotel and lovely rooms. Massive bathroom with standalone tub. I was there on a work conference and probably just as well as the drinks prices are a bit steep. Good food and overall the conference was well run.

We had a wonderful experience on our day trip from Glasgow. The staff was so friendly. I took a private dressage lesson. Christina was a wonderful instructor - it was well worth it.

Fantastic hotel for couples aswell as families. Has lots of activities including golf, clay pigeon shooting, archery, 4 x 4 driving (Kids & adults) and horse riding. Lovely pool & spa with outdoor hot Jacuzzi. Choice of 5 restaurants all superb. Will definitely be returning.

Nice location for afternoon tea. Attentive and friendly service. Special requirements for sandwich fillings fulfilled cheerfully. Teapots refilled as needed. All 4 'courses' excellent both visually and regarding taste. Some particularly skilled touches. Enjoyable first visit today

Sunday dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. The lamb being a highlight. £45 for three courses was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Dinner in Birnam Bistro. Setting was pleasant. Service was unremarkable and pretty slow. Food, when it came, was less than hot. Offered and accepted compensation. Wouldn't rush back.

The pool is great, it has an over 16's section. The outside jacuzzi is the best I've ever been in. Lovely location. Friendly staff members.

Had a lovely afternoon tea. It is the first time we have been back since the refurbishment and the hotel is looking great. As always the food was wonderful and the staff were brilliant.

Spent an evening in the Dormy bar. Food was tapas, great selection and all excellent. We had 9 dishes and all tasted fantastic. Table service great and choice of drinks was also good. Would recommend 🙂

One of the most efficient hotels with a vast army of workers making the front of house a faultless experience. From the best breakfast in Scotland, a stunning spa experience and even gardeners stopping their work to offer to take group pictures... nothing was too much trouble.

I use the pool here, occasionally the coffee shop and I have used the playroom which is very good especially for younger children. The pool and changing facilities are clean, up to date, immaculately ordered, staff are courteous and respond very well to to mention of anything that needs attention. I have looked in at the new American bar. It's a classic, enticing design and not casual dress which is a good thing.
Update: July 2017. The terrace outside the century bar was enticing while I waited for the family and you just have to remind yourself that the fiver you'll pay for a tea here includes the peace, the immaculate lawns, the impeccable service, the view...

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. On this occasion I was there for a golf event on one of its three incredible courses. The Dormy Clubhouse is a joy to spend time in before and after a round. The service and finishing is world class and the resort is a must visit.

Only visited the club house facilities. Very nice. Comfortable luxury. You do feel the history of the place.

They do great deals in the run up to Christmas. Have now done it a couple of years running. Great meal in the restaurant and the spa, especially the outdoor hot pool is a real treat.

I've visited here twice and stayed once and let me tell you this is one of the grandest places I've ever been. The hotel is stunning and the grounds are immaculate. Truly a luxury hotel.

The stay was amazing. The room was lovely and the Spa was great to relax in. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Two minor issues though. The room was too hot and I could not figure out how to get it cooler. And the service at the meal at the club house was a bit mixed. At times great but then forgot things and had to ask twice for things. Not perfection which is what I expected.

Attended a shooting experience. Staff were fantastic, very informative and friendly. Event was very enjoyable, would absolutely recommend to anyone.

The Gleneagles is a great hotel set in beautiful grounds. The facilities are second to none, but what makes this hotel standout is its staffs exceptional service and support for guests. Nothing is taken for granted, and they go outnof thier way to make sure guests needs are met, no matter how unusual.

One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. Remarkable property that is as beautiful as it is vast. Extremely well kept and great service. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Always a good time. We come every year. But the golf courses (the main reason we come) are getting far too expensive. If the trend continues we won't be able to come anymore which would be a massive shame.

The gleneagles Hotel is an excellent location for business events or for leisure. The rooms are spacious and of a very high standard. My only gripe would be that it took the shower a very long time to heat up (circa 15 mins). The staff are excellent and very well presented and the food is outstanding. There is a large number of activies that you can take part in and the location is stunning with excellent views.

A great visit as always. Staff are always excellent. Both lunch in the bar and dinner @ the Strathearn were fantastic. Food is always one of the highlights of a visit. Full body massage at the spa is one of my favourite ways to spend a chilled afternoon.

Went for a walk around the grounds then for a coffee at the bar in the hotel. A very nice experience and the staff were very friendly.

Fantastic golfing, beautiful landscapes, lovely little touches such as owls and birds of prey in the gardens. Great location for family golfing holidays. Don't like the cheap portrait of the Ryder Cup.

I still have good memories of the place restaurant, golf course ,the club house,staff bar,the aquarium centre, shops and all friends I meet here.
