One of the best hotels I have tried in Barcelona. Beautiful building, brilliant location and helpful stuff

My trip to this hotel was wonderful! Firstly, it is very centrally located so it’s close to many nearby shops. It’s particularly close to shops such as Desigual, H&M, and others. If you are coming from the airport, just take the aero bus and it’ll drop you off right at the square. Secondly, the staff were very nice and friendly. They helped us find our way around. Thirdly, the rooms itself were quite nice! It’s the same as the pictures in the website. Although there is no air-conditioning and only a heater so you have to open your windows. Also don’t forget to press the buzzer to the door before you enter the hotel so that they can open the sliding doors for you. Overall, 5/5 stars and wonderful experience here :)

After leaving our first hotel because it was dirty, we found this place around the corner - and boy were we happy about it. Very friendly staff, a clean and quiet room, and a great location make this 3 star hotel a hidden gem in Barcelona! Easily could have 4 stars in my opinion (based on our room).

Note: book through their website! It is always cheaper than through other websites. The staff was even kind enough to make us aware of that while we were standing at the reception so we saved an additional 7% on our stay.

This hotel was excellent for a 3 day stay. Very large room, well maintained especially for a former 19th century castle; great staff; location was an easy walk to everything. We had rooms facing the square in front - pretty soundproof although sound from streets musicians came through at times. But they stop by 10pm.

Great central location and easy to get to from airport. It is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, metro etc. Staff were friendly and welcoming at reception and throughout the hotel. Amazing selection of food at breakfast buffet. There's also a pool and a nice patio area for anyone who what's have food/drinks outside. Hotel was well maintained and rooms are very clean. Would highly recommend!!

Love this hotel! I've stayed here twice and was not disappointed. The location is ideal, walking distance to many sights, and terrific restaurants. The rooms were lovely, and the staff delightful - attentive and helpful. On my birthday they delivered a box of chocolates and a bottle of champagne to my room! Tip: Get a room with a terrance - it was wonderful to sit out in the morning with coffee and plan my day, and in the evening to recap with a glass of wine.

Nice location near shopping and the gothic quarter. Kind staff. The room was small, dark and you hear every sound from the hallway and from the rooms (little privacy). But good for the price for at stay in Barcelona where you are outside most of time anyway.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of everything! Beautiful interior architecture with a taste of history while maintaining the elegance of modern facilities. Delicious breakfast (Buffett), friendly staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Barcelona. And if you are a shopper, you'll love this location because you can splurge then dump all your purchase of at the hotel without having to walk too far. Lots of great food nearby and old town is a three min walk south with beautiful stonework that makes you feel like you're walking back in time!

Wonderful service! My friend and I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to thank the amazing staff and management for taking such excellent care of us. We had checked into the hotel hours before the attack on Las Ramblas. The hotel made everyone feel safe, staff members worked overtime as other staff couldn't get to the hotel with the streets shut down, one gentleman who worked the bar was making pizza's all night as we were unable to leave to get food. There were lots of people at the hotel all evening that weren't hotel guests but they were made to feel like hotel guests. We decided to end our stay sooner than originally planned due to the recent events and the hotel was more than accommodating. I look forward to visiting Barcelona in the future and I plan to stay at this hotel! Also the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and the location of the hotel was perfect!

The best thing about the hotel is the location. Really great spot. The room was nice and clean but beds were tight. Washroom was also great and no problems. Wifi was a good speed. Only thing I didn't like was that pool closed early. Staff were also friendly.

Cozy hotel near Placa Catalunya in the city centre. The hotel's got a pool, nice clean rooms and make your own Bloody Mary at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast is excellent, and the hotel is a great starting point for exploring Barcelona.

Прекрасный отель, вежливый персонал, уютные номера и все это в исторической части города, а в номерах тихо и спокойно. Нахожусь тут с 16.03 по 20.03.13. Советую. Мои этом на ресепшен русско говорящий персонаол, с хорошим знанием города и окресностей. Так, что все ваши вопросы найдут ответ :)
