Very nice clean quaint hotel. Located in a nice area with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in town.

Large, comfortable rooms with a nice desk area. Other conveniences they have are a pullout couch, mini fridge, separate sink from the bathroom (which also has one), and some bottles water which is a nice touch. I've stayed at this hotel twice and have been very impressed by the service and comfortable accommodations each time. Definitely recommend.

Super nice place. The location is very quaint. Just off the college campus, and a block from downtown. Nice places to eat around the hotel. Room was comfy. Staff was very nice. My one compaint (super minor) is that the water is super soft. I had that soap isn't rinsing off feeling. But I'm sure folks are used to that (and maybe prefer). This will be my go to for De Pere trips going forward.

Wonderful clean rooms close to campus. We went for a wedding and it was very comfortable, staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back

The room was very clean, and the staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. There is a business center that could let the guest print out stuff with ease. I would suggest to have more breakfast options.

The staff was great. I really can say the gentleman at help me out and fix all my problems when I got there. And when I left the manager remember me and asked was everything was ok and made sure I didn't run into anymore problems

Staying here for a business trip and the hotel is very clean. The room is very spacious for a single bed, reclining chair, fridge and microwave along with a sizable working desk. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast selection is also very good with a wide variety of foods to choose from.

Great hotel and a little cheaper than most

This is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. Our room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. I like that guests have access to coffee and tea in the diningroom even after breakfast hours, and also love the free home made cookies, also the wine and cheese reception in the late afternoon. Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful.

I have always enjoyed my stay here. The suites are roomy and very comfy. I love the bath and body works samples that they have as well. The staff are very friendly and do their best to take care of you!

The queen suite was pretty spacious and included a microwave, mini fridge, and sofa sleeper. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It's walkable to some restaurants and is on the St. Norbert's campus. Continental breakfast had a pretty good variety.

A nice place to crash for a night. A few friends and I stayed here for the Vikings/Packers game at Lambeau. I didn't pay for the room, so can't say anything about price, but it was a pleasant place to spend the night. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and the employees were all very nice.

We had stayed here several times but not since 2009. The hotel is nicely updated, the rooms are well maintained. The bathrooms are nice. The breakfast is good and very sanitary.
The staff is friendly and the campus is right out the front door.
There are several good restaurants within walking distance.
We also took the grands on a walk to see the lock. Round trip was a little over an hour. Very convenient hotel to St. Norbert's and staff was great.

This hotel is reasonable and well appointed. The windows open in the rooms. Some rooms have sinks in addition to the bathroom. Some suites have fireplaces, and kitchen areas. The hotel adjoins St. Norbert University and is next door to a sports bar. Parking is mostly in a lot across the street but there is some next to the hotel. Breakfast is included. Free WiFi. The fitness room has an elliptical machine and a treadmill. I would definitely return here.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Had a lovely room, bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, bathroom had walk-in shower, and a very nice buffet breakfast was included in the price. Would definitely go back and would recommend.

My husband and i celebrated our anniversary here. I cannot say enough good things about Kress Inn. Every staff member was very friendly and always said hello, the rooms were super clean and beautiful, updated fixtures everywhere, and the location was great for us. Every place we visited, we walked to. Beautiful surroundings, next to the campus. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel on the campus of St Norberts. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was exceptionally clean. Full hot breakfast topped it off.

The Kress is the best hotel in the area. Clean, friendly, great breakfasts. The bathroom, shower and dressing area are very large. We come up to stay a couple times a year.

My wife and I had one of our wedding blocks through the Kress Inn for our August wedding, and had a tremendous experience. The staff was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and the rooms are kept up to date and always clean. We recommend them for any event in the Green Bay area!

Very nice hotel. Big room, including a full desk, recliner, fridge, and microwave. Bathroom was also great with a big shower including Bath & Body Works products which was a nice plus. Would definitely recommend.

Pros:
- Very clean rooms and bathrooms, feels clean as soon as you walk in.
- Quiet atmosphere, won't likely hear neighbors. (But generally most people who I met there were very nice to talk to).
- Very friendly and helpful staff. You can tell they take pride in the good work they do.
- Bedroom safe.
- Water pressure is good and no issues with temperature.
- Complimentary water is nice.
- Modern accommodations including USB outlets everywhere you might need them.
- Lighting is very nice.
- 2 vanities (one inside bathroom, one outside), makes getting ready in the morning with spouse much easier.
- Beds are very restful.
- The WIFI is pretty decent for a hotel (clocked at 25 mbps download, 5 mbps upload during my stay)

Cons:
- Even though warm breakfast is offered, I just kept with the cold stuff and bagels.
- Would be nice to have detachable shower head.

We stayed in a suite for 3 nights. Rooms was perfect for 3 adults. Breakfast was great and close to everything. Wore a Cowboys jersey to Lambeau Field and was excepted like a Packer. Except for the lady from South Carolina who asked, is that you Halloween costume?

A great place. Pleasntly surprised when we checked in. We were hoping it would be nice, but it really exceeded our expectations.

Exactly What an Inn Should Be!

We stayed at Kress Inn during Memorial Weekend. It is located in a nice little area adjacent to St. Norbert College, near both the Fox River and downtown De Pere. A great location near enough to attractions in Green Bay but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of De Pere. A charming and small downtown is only a couple of blocks away, which boasts a few bars and restaurants that are worthy of your visit. The Inn is immaculately clean. The room itself is fantastic! Essentially, it is a suite, with a large desk area, in-room refrigerator, microwave, safe, separate vanity, and awesome shower. This is one of the cleanest and most well-kept hotels I have ever stayed at. The included breakfast was extremely good, including a warm bar of eggs, sausage and make your own waffles. Also available were breakfast sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, pastries, breads, cheese, cottage cheese, fruit, fruit cups, yogurt, milk, and a variety of coffees and juices. They even had complimentary cookies, lemonade, wine and cheese in the lobby. And bikes were available for site-seeing. Staff was wonderful! Actually, this is one of the very best hotels in which I have ever stayed. Everything was spot-on outstanding. Kudos to the Kress Inn for setting the standard in hospitality!

Clean and relatively large rooms. Comfortable beds. Located on the quiet St. Norbert campus.

Clean and cozy temperature controlled rooms. Adequate lighting, four separate fixtures in the room that could be dimmed as well. The room was not necessarily snall, but since featured a large desk/workspace and a recliner there wasn't a ton of extra space. Great place for an overnight stay for work, conference, seminar, etc. Probably not ideal for smaller, energetic children.

Clean, comfortable, great value and great place to stay. Love the wine and cheese each afternoon, and the breakfast is not just carb stuff. I always stay there on business, and I'm always glad I do.

It is the beginning of June and I have just made another reservation to stay at the Kress Inn for a conference in November 2009: I enjoy my stay so much that I do not want to risk not getting a room. The location is quiet, beautiful and extremely comfortable with several restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. And, if you like to gamble a little, there is a casino about 20 minutes away. The rooms accomodate business travelers needs perfectly by offering a nice sized work desk, good internet connection, mini-fridge, and microwave. I have always been checked in and out quickly and the hotel staff is terrific. The cost of their rooms are more than reasonable. I hesitated to write a review because I would just as soon keep the Kress a secret so that I can always get a room for myself. However, it is not nice to be stingy so I am sharing my view with others!
