Hotel Claris Grand Luxe Barcelona
A sleek, chic boutique behind the striking 19th century facade of the former Vedruna Palace, Claris Hotel and Spa combines art, style and history in a unique city centre hotel that houses a museum, great places to eat and drink and a stunning rooftop pool. The impressive artwork collection displayed in each of the rooms is proof of the hotel's close link with art; each room is decorated with one-of-a-kind Roman, Hindu or Pre-Columbian pieces that create unique spaces that combine luxury and comfort. But the hotel's most-valued collection is undoubtedly its Egyptian art, showcased at the hotel's first-floor museum. Lie on your back in the pool and enjoy a calming blank canvas of blue sky and gaze over the city rooftops. From the breathtaking La Terraza del Claris as you enjoy dinner, cocktails and live music, to traditional chinese cuisine with a very special mediterranean touch at recently opened restaurant Mr. Kao. Claris Hotel and Spa is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World
property.

The hotel is clean, elegant, and decorated tastefully.
The room was wide and clean, and the rooftop of the hotel is a nice bonus, with it's swimming pool and sauna.
The location is quite good, a walking distance from most of the famous attractions.
I wish the spa wasn't that exepensive, so that we could enjoy it too.
Highly recommended .

Obligatorio ir allí al menos una vez por los excelentes cócteles, buena música y una vista única de la ciudad condal.

LOCATION: Waking distance to a number of Guadi must sees, high end fashion shops and very good full service restaurants in addition cafes and tapas.
Exquisite room decor. They even provide a cell phone to avoid needing a SIM card and it can be used as a hotspot.
I could not stay at any other hotel in Barcelona.

Featuring original works of art, the opulent rooms come with marble bathrooms and plush sofas, plus flat-screen TVs, minibars and free Wi-Fi. Upgraded rooms have gold-leafed ceilings and pre-Columbian art. Suites add a range of features, from Nespresso machines to saunas.
The hotel offers a breakfast buffet, and there's a refined rooftop Mediterranean restaurant and a colorful bar with tapas and cocktails. Additional amenities include a pool, a gym and a terrace with panoramic city views.

Only little things like towel hook on the wrong side of the shower... also since there is only the rainmaker shower head and the water turning knob at the back of the shower you make get too cold or too hot shower before getting the right temperature - an extra hand-held shower head would solve this and be a nice addition. But one may use the bubble bath altogether :-).
I wish their pool hours would also operate little longer (either earlier or later from 10am to 8pm).
Restaurant downstairs is also tasty... little vegan stuff but super delicious.
Definitely a place I would come again!

Overall great stay and most likely the best you can get for your money.
The great location and beautiful art worth the extra penny. Service can be improved even though that might be due to cultural differences.
