Price wise it’s very good. Rooms were clean (a bit of dirt on the walls though) and AC didn’t really work. Not too soundproof though, you could hear movement and any sounds on the hallway.
Otherwise the hotel has a great location, easy to walk to restaurants, shops and such, and close to subway.

Rooms are extremely hot. Air conditioning in room was ineffective. Opened window which has no fly screen mesh, but road works were very noisy so had to keep it closed. Breakfast is very good. Location is great. Hotel lobby is lovely but the bedrooms seem so cheap. Cleaning staff were very sweet and friendly. All other staff seemed angry and abrupt.

This place is affordable, and being around you he corner from the metro, makes it ideal. Walking distance from Plaza Major. Quiet at night...and I always (strongly suggest) getting breakfast included...which is the typical seen-one-seen-all Euro fare.

Such a shame, as this review would’ve been 5 stars, but last night there was a group of American students that were running around the corridors and screaming from midnight until 6am. This really highlighted how paper thin the walls are as you could hear everything very clearly & I didn’t get any sleep at all, as I’m sure most guests also did not!
Other than that, the breakfast is very nice, good service & nice rooms! I’m sure when there aren’t 100 American students staying at the same time it would be perfect! Great location near the centre too!
Just had 3 nights at the hotel. Would highly recommend. We were extremely lucky to be able to access our room on arrival at 11am. Reading comments on here I requested a rear facing room, which was very quiet.
Hotel is a 10/15 minute easy walk to Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace. 30 minutes to Prado museum/park. So a great location. Super touristy but we loved the Plaza Mayor for dinner and drinks. Such a good atmosphere.
Hotel staff were so friendly. Breakfast was great, add it on to your booking or pay €14 euro a head. We didn't use the pool but it looked good.
Rooms were clean and functional, air-conditioning a little slow but leave it on and it does the trick. A great stay.
