The Marriott Hotel in Nagasaki, conveniently located next door to the train station, truly deserves its 5-star rating. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a beautiful ambiance and a delightful fragrance. The staff are outstanding, providing responsive and exceptional service throughout your stay. The rooms are impeccably designed, featuring all the essentials, including complimentary water, coffee, and tea. If you find yourself in Nagasaki, this hotel is a top-notch choice for an unforgettable stay.

Stayed at this hotel recently. It's a new (Jan 2024) Marriott, located right next to the train station and next to a nice shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and well designed. Service is outstanding at entrance, reception, restaurant and lounge. Breakfast buffet is large and kept well stocked for the whole time it's open. The hotel is walking distance to a number of tourist attractions and the electric tram that can take you to the other tourist sites (atomic bomb museum etc) stop in front of the hotel. The price/quality is amazing! Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at Marriott Nagasaki! The hotel's location is excellent, and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious, and the Executive Lounge provided a relaxing atmosphere. What truly set my experience apart was the exceptional service which contacted me prior to my arrival to ensure everything was arranged to my satisfaction. The attention to detail made my stay comfortable and stress-free. Marriott Nagasaki goes beyond just providing a place to sleep—it ensures a memorable, luxurious experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

I would leave 10 stars if I could. The 3 nights stay at a few months old Nagasaki Marriott Hotel was absolutely amazing.
This hotel is located right next to JR Nagasaki station and Amu Plaza plus walking distance from tramway station. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly yet professional staff. They escort you to the elevator, press the floor number for you and they bow until the door closes. The room featured modern, elegant design, plush furnishings and stunning views of port and the city. All staff members were courteous, polite, respectful and it mostly upholds the high standards that guests expect.
Yes all looks perfect but they try to gain a lot of money because they are cutting the edges. Only 60 minutes in the lounge. No luxury in the room. 4 coffee/ 4 water and all the rest should be paid. A beautiful terrace but without any chairs or table. If you are a gold for life member of Bonvoy no upgrades no better view no better floor nor a late check out . Because in 2 weeks there is a festival and a concert and they have to keep those rooms available. I know it belongs to JR group so it is probably friends and familiy who get the benefits. It is a big disappointment for such a brandnew hotel because the service is not 5 stars at all.
