This hotel is "technically" without a front desk. They also do not have a bellman to help you with your bags. The location was great and is very walkable to UVA and the Downtown Mall. There are plenty of great restaurants and bars around. The room was overall clean and comfortable. They have a nice rooftop restaurant and bar. They also have a restaurant next door that serves breakfast/brunch. Overall it was a good experience. I always feel ripped off when I stay in a hotel in Charlottesville due to how expensive everything is for a small town.😑

Great hotel. Location is perfect. Ability to walk to many things in Charlottesville. Self-parking is about a block walk but it's not bad and valet parking is available. The on-site venues such as the cafe/speakeasy/rooftop & lobby bars are all amazing. The staff was phenomenal. There are good spaces to just lounge around a bit in the lobby, have a bite to eat and or get some work done. The room was spacious, dark at night and very quiet.
Can't wait for our next trip.

Hotel itself was decent. If we were staying for more than a night I'd have some complaints but we were mainly just sleeping here for a night. Husband said the bartender and his margaritas were delicious. We really enjoyed William, the valet guy. He was so so sweet and helpful and really made our stay here. Top notch service, do whatever you have to to keep him around!!!

Overall a good stay. Room was big, staff were great, the location was good and the rooftop bar/lounge area was nice.

Room and bathroom could have used brighter or more light - they were kind of dim. A floor lamp would have helped in the main room. The vanity area of the bathroom definitely needed more light.

No default tv service was odd. We were able to use our streaming subscriptions on the room’s Roku TV but it’s the first place I’ve ever stayed where you couldn’t just turn on and watch tv.
