I attended a wedding at The Hermitage Hotel. I highly recommend this venue. Both the wedding and the reception were great. The wedding hall that was used was a little small but I believe that was what was chosen. The reception hall was very large and spacious. The location was perfect for wedding photos.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Nashville! I love how there is water on tap in the hall ways with reusable bottles. sparkling still and infused to choose from. we where lucky and got one of the new rooms with floor to ceiling windows.

Awesome spot, was here for wedding reception pre party. Lots of history, definitely seems to be more of the focus on the experience of staying here than the amenities... but very nice spot.

The only Nashville hotel on the registry of historic places, and 5-star to boot. Excellent location, professional staff, top-notch amenities and comfortable rooms. The best of everything.

I did not stay here but I will say I am thoroughly impressed by the level of professionalism displayed by the doormen.
We went to Nashville to see a show and as we were walking, I was dying of thirst. I asked the valet if there was a place close by to get a bottled water. They escorted me to the gift shop, but the lady professionally told me they didn't have any, but the doormen should have a stock. He went to the back room, a moment later emerged with 2 bottles, one for me and one for my fiancee. I asked if I needed to pay for them. He told me no charge. Incredibly professional and super polite.

Excellent hotel! Wonderful rooms, luxurious, we were well pampered. We ate in the bar - the truffle fries are yummy! And make sure you check out the men's room in the bar - a step back in time to art deco. Amazing!

Attended an absolutely beautiful wedding at the hotel. There is valet parking since the hotel is downtown, so parking is a non-issue. The hotel is impeccably kept, and every detail is gorgeous. There seems to be tons of venue options inside the hotel, but the area we were in was rich in detail with

My son took us for my daughter in law's Birthday dinner. I was very surprised that they had "run out" of several items on their already very limited menu. The service was outstanding, we will probably not go back, however it is definitely somewhere you may want to eat at least once while in Nashville.

Just stopped in to use the bathroom and to see The Bathroom. Beautiful building with very friendly staff who were happy to tell us all about The Bathroom even though we were just stopping in. You have to go down a floor to get to The Bathroom and have a "man" go in first to make sure the coast is clear because even though women are allowed in, it's still a functional bathroom. My partner went in before me and said the coast was clear so I came in and saw it briefly before realizing there was in fact someone in one of the stalls. Oops.

Wonderful hotel across the street from the performing arts center. Crazy helpful staff. The sort of place they remember your name and call you Ms. Or Mr. So and so. I could live the rest of my life in their crazy deep tubs watching the in. mirror. television.

The staff here is great. They make you feel at home. The history within the hotel makes you feel like you are a part of something social. This was by far one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at.

The hotel has a beautiful interior and a very nice staff. It has a distinct historical draw to it as well as a modernized feel. Restaurant and bars are available within the hotel in case the weather is poor or if you're looking for something close by.

Went for a work event. Arrived too late for valet parking, but they redirected me to a nearby lot. Only saw the lobby and event area, but everything was shiny and clean. The bathrooms were super nice and had gold plated pipes in the urinals and a stack of cloth hand towels.

Really cool historic hotel. Centrally located to everything downtown Nashville. Staff is amazingly nice. Always someone at the door to greet you and open the front door. The front desk always said “welcome back” or “enjoy your day” as we passed them. Rooms are very clean and very comfortable. This has been such a fun visit and such a cool hotel.

Very comfortable rooms and environment with great decor. Staff are nice but not trained very well and weren't what we were expecting from the Hermitage. Probably won't stay here again due to that and the fact the the Hermitage is more expensive than the Omni which is truly 5 stars.

When I walked up to the entrance I had the unique experience of asking the male staff member to show me to the men's room. Lol. Myself and 4 of my female friends went on a tour of the front of the hotel to the men's room. The hotel was great. The hotel is on the historical registry and all the art deco in this hotel was superb. Truly a had a great time. We even had a few guys walk in the bathroom while we were there. They got a surprise with us there.

There was a large group in front of us so it took some time to get our food. Our waiter was very apologetic and brought us free appetizers while we waited. The rabbit biscuits we're incredible. I would also recommend the fried green tomatoes, bison steak and fried chicken.

The rooms and service were outstanding. The bathroom has a full size bath tub with a TV built in the mirror and a great ahower as well. The beds are very comfortable. The bar downstairs has a great selection and the room service was also excellent for a 1am night snack. The location is also great for downtown Nashville being right next to Broadway street. Overall a great hotel experience.

The Hermitage Hotel is truly an awesome experience. My family of four, from Iowa, went and truly felt cared for. The doormen were extraordinarily polite and helpful and the hotel itself was beautiful. It's perfect for a couple or a family. They don't care if you aren't their typical fancy customer they treat you the same.

The food was good. Lamb ordered medium rare ended up cooked rare, but it was delicious regardless. The beer selection was a little small, but still had good options. The servers were attentive but never overbearing. Overall, a nice place to go out for a special occasion.

Attended a group dinner and the food was excellent. The services was good though could have been better. Asked our server questions she could not answer. Waited and waited for her to return with an answer - seemed somewhat unfocused. Although, they were accommodating to me and my special dietary needs.

I stayed for business, I was very surprised that the room was not as well maintained as I expected. The lamp shade was torn, the shower head was broken and the hallway floor was very dirty. They brought me a fruit and cheese plate, such a nice touch however the cheese was dried out and hard it was like wax. The room I had was right off the elevators, it was so noisy I could not sleep, don't stay in room 310. I would not recommend. To bad because it was a nice location and had some nice qualities.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The room we stayed in was larger than average and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is large with a separate shower and bath. The in-mirror TV in the bathroom is a nice touch. The beds were super comfy.

Wow, wow, wow!!! Even if your not staying swing by and check out this historic gem. The restaurant is totally worth the price premium because it feels like you time travel back to the twenties. Also if you go during happy hour it's not even that expensive. I love taking out of towner's to the Hermitage.

Beautiful, historic hotel within walking distance of Broadway, museums, music venues, The Ryman, convention center. Updated luxurious rooms, super comfy beds, large bathroom (room 913), Molten Brown amenities, attentive staff. The TV built into the bathroom mirror can be dragged and dropped to whatever area you want. They even have a bath concierge. We would stay at the Hermitage again, for sure. Ask for a deluxe king on a high floor. And check out the happy hour in the Oak Room bar. Fantastic prices and service.

We stayed several nights at The Hermitage. Our stay was amazing from beginning to end. The staff is almost too friendly and loves to go the extra mile to make your time there as enjoyable as possible. The room had a Nespresso machine that was really great, I probably drank my weight in coffee. The beds are incredible. And there is never a problem the staff arent willing to handle. My mother in law was in a separate room. Her TV went out and they replaced it quickly. Overall this is one of my favorite hotel expereinces ever.

We came to this hotel for my brothers wedding. Myself, my husband and our 2 year old stayed in a king deluxe room. This place is amazing, its beautiful and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. We forgot several things and they jump to help you. My mom has a few unavoidable issues with her room and was given several generous comps as apology which was much more than was ever asked. I have never stayed in a hotel this nice but we decided to live large so to speak for this wedding weekend and none of us regret it at all. We had a conversation with our housekeeper that was so friendly and refreshing it just brightened our whole day. It is so close to everything, and so central to everything we wanted to do. It was the perfect choice and I would love to stay here again. I had two favorite things about our stay. The bath is amazing, as someone with a back injury it was amazing to be able to soak up to my neck and get some relief from my daily pain, it was the best feeling to not hurt which is hard to get. The other thing that I loved was that there was a buckwheat pillow in the closet. It may not seem like much but with my back pain I don't always sleep as well either and ive been looking at a buckwheat pillow to try to help my position in sleep to help my back, i was skeptical however and was dragging my feet about trying one. So I grabbed the one in the hotel and tried it out. It is the best pillow i have ever laid on hands down, and I've gone through a ton of pillows. It has guaranteed that I will get one, and they are even avaliable for purchase from the hotel which is really convenient. Hands down one of the best vacations we have had and the Hermitage is a central reason for that. 10/10 wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, i cant wait to visit again.

Big rooms with big bed and bathroom. We stayed here for an anniversary night. Everything was very nice, but it is an old building. At the time, it was Nashville's only 5 star hotel. It did not seem 5 star. But no matter what go in the men's bathroom. Very deco and cool,

Such a well-done hotel. Beautiful rooms--and bathrooms!! We had to wait a bit for our room to be ready, and when it was, we were greeted with a chilled bottle of champagne for our troubles. Exceptional service and such a friendly staff.

Stolen Jewelry: My sister and I visited Nashville for the first time Memorial Day weekend. I was so excited to be in Music City and take everything in!
Unfortunately, The Hermitage Hotel left a pretty big dent in my impression of Nashville. We arrived back to our hotel room after spending an afternoon in Belle Meade to discover that I had jewelry missing. A gift from my parents, a pair of diamond and pearl earrings, were gone. I filed a report with the hotel and have yet to hear back from them, but I don't really expect to. This ordeal makes it difficult to say I had a great time in Nashville. I loathe the fact that I can't enjoy myself in a brand new city without worrying about who will be in our room going though our things.
If I go back to Nashville, I will not be staying here again.
Other observations:
Pros: The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and that celling is gorgeous! The bar serves delicious and well-made drinks. (The Tennessee Waltz is amazing!) The restaurant was on point with the food as well.
Cons: Our room was okay. For what is cost to stay here, the beds weren't super comfortable and the sheets seemed haphazardly clean. Ive stayed in other hotels with the same rating, but were obviously better kept. The safe stopped working after a day of use. Lack of plugs made it frustrating to find places to charge cellphones.

Stayed at this wonderful place back in October for Halloween 14', was on a road trip to L.A. California. The Hermitage has the nicest employees, always on point and very knowledgeable about Nashville. When I go back I will stay there again and again. (By the way their Showers are awesome and relaxing after a nice long night at Tootsies.)
This is a special place to stay at when visiting Nashville. My wife and I always look to stay here when possible because we know the level of service that the Hermitage offers and the high standards that they hold themselves to when it comes to taking care of their customers. They also have a wonderful restaurant downstairs, as well. As you can see from the attached pics, we had an amazing view from our room. My wife & I always have a wonderful, romantic, and stress free stay whenever we cone to The Hermitage. We'll definitely return.
