The concept and interior is really nice. The dinning area has beautiful art pieces.

Occasionally, I love to visit the glamour of a loud, over the top, extortionately expensive hotel.
This is not that place.
This is much more my taste in hotels.
The Edition is rich and subtle, elegant and peaceful. The level of care taken with the exquisite interior is reflected in everything about the hotel. From first class service to exemplary cuisine from Berners Tavern and room service. The staff are beyond reproach. The bar staff are friends and the entire crew are family.
The gorgeous bedrooms, the pristine bathrooms, the luxurious robes, smiling and attentive staff are all I need to extract the toxicity of a miserable day or enhance a magical one.
The hotel exudes a masculinity in its dark wood walls, high ceilings and air perfumed with the unmistakable scent of comfort.
Other than that, it’s ok ;)

Staff super friendly and easy going knowing a lot about the menu and drinks. Michal who used to man the door at the punch room (amazing drinks venue in same hotel) is amazing he really makes the extra effort 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The restaurant is beautiful - the lighting makes you ( well my guest ) look gorgeous - the wine flowed with the help of their staff, we tried three different bottles topped off with incredible cocktails.
It’s great here from breakfast lunch or dinner and could recommend this to all ages.

I’ve also had lunch in Berners tavern which is yum. Staff are very attentive and the table service is really great. The goats cheese popcorn is a nice touch too.

The Edition is one of the best hotels in the World. Not because the rooms are over the top. Rather, a combination of hospitality and chic elegance. The level of attention to detail for the guest’s experience from the moment you check-in until you leave. Here’s a quick rundown.
Hotel: It’s an old building and they’ve kept 100% of the charm and updated the areas that needed it. The rooms aren’t the largest, but very comfortable and what you would expect for this price point. The shower gets a 10 out of 10. Lots of pressure and rain shower experience.
Food: From breakfast to dinner there’s zero reason to leave this hotel. I would put the cuisine up against any Michelin rated place. Truly a foodies dream to come here. The wine collection boasts almost 1,000 bottles and pick a country, they probably have it.
Willingness: To me, this is the most important part. If you leave upset here it is your fault. Anything you share with staff they solve on the spot.
WOW! Is my only word to describe and we will return again. It’s our new “Goto” spot in London. Sorry Ritz.

We would come back in a heartbeat. I loved the neighborhood and it was perfect because there were loads of great dining options and shopping right around the hotel.

Bed was comfy. Only issue with the room was due to the design of the ceiling, the air from the AC gets directed and blown in your face when you are in bed.
Easy walk to tube station and generally in area.

Posh work, rather than personal or romantic. This is a place for business/expense lunches and drinks rather than a place to come with a loved one. A little bit brash, a touch too flamboyant and a worky vibe, the food is surprisingly good, the service attentive and the ceiling is wonderful (the salon-hung walls are a bit cheesy though). This is the acme of west-end work venues and it does that well.

The rooms are beautiful, a little pricey for someone looking for a 'cheap nights sleep' but in my opinion, worth the money. Beautiful and spacious, cool without feeling pretentious.
The Punch Room is fast becoming one of my favorite haunts for cocktails too. Be aware that this hidden gem is a reservations only bar, and don't turn up looking as though you've just been dragged through a hedge backwards. You'll just ruin it for everyone else. Everything from the decor to the carefully chosen music (think doo-wop, blues, ragtime) creates a land that time forgot, where you can while away the hours with friends or in some sort of romantic rendezvous enjoying one of the delightful punches.

I owe this great night to the extremely tentative staff, who worked tirelessly, but always at 100%. Thank you for taking care of us!
I believe that this hotel is a true testament to 'The Ultimate Customer Experience'. I just hope that parent company Marriott recognises some of the brilliant examples of the 'customer journey' at The Edition, and adopts it across the rest of the brand. If/when they do, they would be miles ahead of the competition.
5 stars from a CX critic.

Amazing stay. The service was great and the food in the morning was one of the best I've ever been. However, it was a but posh for my taste. But I think that's what they were aiming for so great job and something that really impressed me was how clean it was and the attention to details

Loved the Edition!! It is beautiful, the staff is accommodating and lovely, and the location is perfect! In the evenings, it becomes a really cool place to hang out too (without being at all loud in the rooms). I already miss the incredible concoctions in the Punch Room. A special thank you to Kyle at the front desk, Georgi the concierge, Julien, Isaac and so many others! We will be back without a doubt! Thank you for making our time in London so memorable! You feel like family!!

Beautiful hotel with lively bar area downstairs. It is also centrally located. I was very happy that the noise from the downstairs bar area did not travel into the rooms. The rooms were equally nice. As a bonus my bathroom had a large shower.
