It is what you expect from a St Regis property, there are standards and expectations that are maintained but that's where their obligations of service hospitality ends.
As a SPG Platinum Member that had the occasion to stay at St Regis Osaka, I cannot honestly find a service differentiation. There is little to recognition for my loyalty to the Starwood brands, neither did I felt exceptionally looked after when I didn't even get to know the purpose of their Butler service.
You will enjoy your stay, it's a beautiful and luxurious property in Osaka. But you may not necessarily be impressed or felt compelled to stay again if you're in Osaka.

Comfortable room with a nice room. I liked the layout of it and it was spacious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The fitness room is decent, more machines for lifting than I expected. They have a small garden on the 12th floor that is good for a stroll. Our room had a pod espresso machine but it was good for a pod. The closet had room for 2 luggage racks. There is a subway next to it. There was an issue with room service and the staff handled the response very professionally.

Beautiful hotel with very easy access to the subway. The butler service is great. Got our clothes pressed for free, and they helped us get next-day reservations at a 3 Michelin star restaurant.

The St. Regis Osaka, now part of the Marriott Group is a nice property conveniently located above a subway station.
When we arrived in the morning, the check-in desk was overcrowded with people and it was a little on the chaotic side. We were attended to shortly however, and the hotel staff was nice enough to offer us a place to wash up when we asked if it was possible. Kudos to them for going the extra mile with regard to that.
Butler service was okay. We ordered coffee and our request was promptly attended to, with some light bites accompanying the beverages we ordered.
The breakfast spread was really sumptous. Both international selection and Japanese meal were to my liking. The hotel also has got a nice bar with great ambience, and it comes with live music.
All in all, a nice property.

On the last night of my Osaka trip, I stayed at St Regis Osaka, which is located in the Hommachi area, 2 stops away from Dotonbori and Namba station. It’s peaceful up here when you look out the window at the distant city lights. The soft glow of street lamps as cars pass by ever so slowly below.
Turns out the St Regis Osaka is a pretty good spot to stay, and I liked it even better here compared to further north near Osaka City Station. It’s near the major shopping street, and the smaller streets between Hommachi Dori and Chui Odori have plenty of food choices that would satisfy any foodie. Plus, there are hidden quirkiness everywhere that puts a smile on my face. Like this giant robot in front of the restaurant filled with business people. What an interesting juxtaposition.

Beautiful rooms, fantastic staff. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever experienced with excellent quality bedding. Only issue was when I sent to have a pair of trousers pressed by the butler service they were returned pressed, but with a white stain running along the length of one leg. I was surprised this was missed in such a service and detail-oriented property. The staff did apologize profusely and were able to clean and re-press them in short order. Good recognition of SPG status if you have it. Very high quality breakfast buffet with varied options.

Great hotel!! Amazing hotel, spacious rooms with super comfortable beds. Location is good, the subway station is on the basement of the building and is next to a big area of shops and restaurants. Their Italian restaurant is fantastic. The service is very nice. Highly recommended!

This is an outstanding hotel!! Centrally located, lavishly appointed with excellent staff. The service was impeccable, always friendly and almost everyone spoke English quite well. The butler service was amazing and nothing was too much for the staff. The room was spacious and well appointed. After a recent visit at the Hilton Tokyo, in a tower suite (twice the price) this room and experience was light years beyond what the Hilton offered. The St. Regis and its staff made this stay memorable and we can't wait to come back!!
Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. Every night had a beautiful sunset view. The buffet breakfast was incredible. And the staff was just so helpful and nice!
