The day after we checked in, we returned to our room late in the afternoon to find that the room had not been cleaned and that there was a bunch of stuff that wasn't ours that was in our room, apparently from someone who was attending a stagette. Our 6 y.o. was reading some of papers left on the table and I had to field questions about condoms from her. Lovely. Apparently someone had mistakenly given our room number as theirs and asked the staff to drop their stuff off. I found it a bit odd that they wouldn't at least check the person's name with their reservation records before doing so. As a point of comparison, after we had checked out (and the room was still empty), I noticed I had forgotten to pack something, so went to the front desk to ask if I could take a quick peek at the room. They asked me for my driver's license. Even after I showed it, they wouldn't allow me to go in the room to take a quick peek. I even suggested that someone could attend with me, but they declined. I just found this odd when juxtaposed with what we had encountered earlier. All that being said, to their credit, their housekeeping folks did find something I had left behind and were kind enough to bring it down to me.
Other nits: One of the TV remotes didn't work. We asked for it to be fixed, but it never was. Our toddler was playing with the safe and accidentally locked it (while it was empty). We asked them to reset it, but they never did. Neither was a huge deal, but sort of irritating nonetheless.
On the positive side, apart from the above, the room was fine and reasonably comfortable and staff were generally polite and helpful. Overall, we'd probably stay there again, in the hopes that our experience this time was a one-off (we didn't encounter such issues in our past says). Should also mention the parking - it's underground (which is great) but a bit cramped. Not a huge deal but makes parking rather laborious when folks are coming in and out. They also have washers and dryers on P2.

Overall we had a comfortable stay in a pricier hotel with an average standard.

The good: the room was that the bed was extremely comfortable!! It was a decent-sized room with a couch. The Oliver and Bonacini restaurant had good food and good service.
Overall, I don't think it was value for money. Having to pay extra for parking really annoyed us. And the bathroom sink issue. But of course, you may have a different experience.
The view in this picture is from across the hotel.

Liked · The bed was very comfortable and the general condition of the room was very good. Also the bathroom was clean and the shower was also very nice to use. Access to all of the hotels facilities was also quite convenient.
Disliked · There were a lot of items that are usually present in a hotel room absent from mine, namely there was no: iron, coffee, tea, slippers, comb and some other items I can't recall at the moment. This may be due to corona virus, so that's understandable but it would be nice to have these items under normal circumstances. One of the worst things I experienced here was the odor in the parking garage. It was extremely foul, so much so that one of the guests I was visiting here with would gag every time we had to go there. Also many of the outlets in my room as well as another guest's room I was visiting with did not work leading to me having to fish for the right outlet which caused me to waste more time doing that rather than relaxing or enjoying my stay here. This should definitely be fixed regardless of corona virus measures.

The room I had had a full kitchen with oven, microwave and fridge, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living/dining room and a fire place.
The staff were friendly and hospitable, and ensured my stay was pleasant and comfortable.
The rooms are modern and most have patio's attached to them, which is great especially if you're facing the lake and the village.
Expect to pay Westin prices, a little on the steeper side, but totally worth it if you're looking to relax and re-charge.
Great for families, travellers and those attending conferences.
They have an O&B in their lobby which has a nice bar as well as a great menu.
Parking is underground and can be done valet style or self park.
Highly recommend and would stay again!

After I booked, I had emailed to ask about activity packages, in the email I casually mentioned it was my husband's birthday without realizing it. When we checked in, the guy at the front desk (I can't seem to remember his name, really wish I could) said happy birthday and gave us free parking. He was so nice and accommodating.
The suite was perfect. And waiting for us was a birthday card and a small box of chocolates for my husband's birthday. It was such a nice and unexpected touch.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the pool was amazing. I have no complaints and highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Tank you for the great stay!

This place is unreal and amazing. Right from the moment I called to book the hotel to the end of my stay it has been a great experience. The staff were so nice and helpful, the room was amazing especially the bed! The restaurant was also exceptional. I would 100% recommend this hotel and will be coming back! :)

Had our dog with us and hotel staff were very friendly with her. No issues as long as you keep your pet on a leash at all times.
Will definitely be back again!

There are some outdated areas of the room. The bathtub and showers were outdated but everything else was great!
We got a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom suite and free parking which was fantastic. Only a 5 min walk to the village.

The room itself was great. Comfortable, clean, and spacious. Our bellboy who helped bring our bags to the room was such a sweet older man too! He more than made up for the crotchety old lady at the front desk! Overall I would stay again.

The room was lovely and all of the staff we encountered were gracious and seemed genuinely helpful and happy to assist as well as interacting with Dave and Otis the dogs.
The scenery and hiking were amazing.
We appreciated the early check in and allowing us to check out a wee bit late so we could hike longer.
Definitely a destination we will return to!

Hostess is often not present at the Oliver & Bonacini restaurant (three times there and had to peak into the restaurant to waive down a waitress). The price was a Oliver & Bonacini pricing (comparable to downtown Toronto) but the creativity and quality of food was ... Okay.

I recommend that you contact Justin before and during your stay. Justin is sublime -very professional and he shares a lot of excellent advice - like the best route to arrive and depart there (Airport Road).
Next, if you eat at O&B, request Will as your server - Will gets "IT" - the difference between being of service (hospitality) and serving food and drinks (waiting tables).
My disappointment with my stay revolved around a few service gaps and the destination being frequently chosen for bachelor and bachelorette parties.
Overall, I had a pleasant enough experience that I would consider visiting again.

There was the look of luxury but a lot of little things were off in our room - One example was the broken shower door with broken glass showing and was difficult to open and close. The shower was not very strong and took a long time to get warm with difficulty in making small changes to temperature. There were small defects in the windows/kitchen that were poorly repaired. I was surprised at the lack of care in room maintenance.
Overall, a pleasant stay but could be better.
