Absolutely beautiful hotel and wonderful experience in Ritz Paris! The hotel staffs are all very friendly, helpful and professional as well. My wife and I also appreciate the small gestures that we received throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

I think the Ritz Paris is the best hotel of my life. From the moment we arrived, many staff members came out to warmly welcome us, and we were generously upgraded to a truly wonderful room. Despite being a hotel with such a long and rich history, every corner of the room was immaculately maintained. It perfectly fulfilled my romantic vision of Paris.
Although I had seen some negative reviews mentioning discrimination or service issues, I did not experience anything like that at all. I would absolutely love to visit again, and I hope for another amazing upgrade next time as well! Thank you so much for such a memorable stay.

Since the Ritz Bar was revamped this has become even better. The bar itself is fantastic. I’ve a preference for sitting at the bar. Bar staff are excellent and take the time to discuss the choice of drinks to suit the occasion. Small choice of tapas is fantastic. Luxury and elegance. Much easier to access now the former opening has once more been placed into commission.

Absolutely stunning hotel. When you think of Paris luxury, the ritz is the place. The Hemingway Bar is a favorite of mine. The actual restaurant is not that good for what they charge. The dining room is brilliant but the service was a bit rude. We were uncomfortable and wanted the dinner to be over. Not the experience you want when spending £400 per person on dinner.

The amenities are a bit outdated, so not always worth the price, but to come and have a drink or a tea is a must. Be prepared to be blown away by the prices. But a lot of history in this hotel

My third time at this location, I love to get pampered and feel the personal attention from everyone, there is never a bad moment at any Ritz, but by far this will always be my favorite, I can't say enough about the staff and management to go above and beyond with their guests, food is great but the experience with service is top notch!

Ernest Hemingway famously declared the hotel bar liberated from the Nazis at the end of WWII, and today the Bar Hemingway is named in his honor. As Hemingway once wrote, “When I dream of afterlife in heaven, the action always takes place in the Paris Ritz.” The hotel is currently closed for renovations until early 2015.

The hotel itself is great. My dinner however, was not. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they were easily the best part of the meal. The Foie Gras (without the accoutrements) were good, easily the most creamy, clean flavored I've ever had. The sweet breads also good. Everything between, starting with the duck was just not impressive. My company enjoy some of theirs (heavy seafood choices) but not all. Overall, the experience was not memorable, and quite lackluster. I did expect more, unfortunately.

Such a gorgeous hotel with top-notch hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure we were able to put together a fabulous stay and birthday celebration for a dear friend.

Defines perfect service and exquisite food. We have eaten here numerous times over all the years since the renovation of the hotel. There are so many extraordinary restaurants in Paris, but for us this is one of the very best.

If only the standard of service here were replicated throughout the world. Your conversation is never interrupted, and yet the wait staff somehow seamlessly brings each course with elan and takes obvious pleasure in creating the whole dining experience, while never being obtrusive.

If you take pride in your thrift, this is not the place for you. If you can afford world-class service and food in one of the most elegant and historic locations on the planet, put this at the top of your list.

We absolutely loved our stay there! I shared a suite with 2 of my best friends. The service was amazing! They met all of our needs. We will be back.

Beautifully made and couldn't take any more pictures or videos because when you are enjoying the moment, you get hooked watching every second of the show... because it is indeed a Show. They are well trained and know so much information about every plate and every detail. Something you definitely need to do at least once in your life.

The hotel Ritz in Paris is as you would expect vibrant and lavish with all the grandeur that the Name brings. You can have lunch dinner and tea there even if you are nice not a guest. It’s worth trying out the Tea time menu as there are lots of nice treats to be had. You can also just go in for a drink and relax at one of the 3 bars and soak up the atmosphere and take in the splendid decor.

Everything you expect in a great Parisian institute. Go. Eat. Enjoy. Repeat

Make it a point to drink at one of the Ritz’s cocktail bars before heading for dinner. The French food apart, the highlight is the fresh baked bread the bring out straight from the oven. The best bread in the world hands down!

Attentive and helpful service at Bar Vendome (main bar). Nice conversations with guests from all over the world. Bar Hemingway is a fun experience but don't expect the same level of service. Beautiful lights around Christmas and New Year's. It's not cheap.

A great night in the royal suite where lady di did his last night. Bathroom walls deck and floor are Festival of luxury.

A mytical place that actually lives to its legend. Nothing else to say : the decorum is raffined, the staff is very resourcefull and handy, rooms are well equiped. Never had any bad time when visiting the place.

Excellent tea. Ambitious choice of proposing a French afternoon tea : does it stand the competition with the famous one? If you're not in sweet and dry biscuits, it won't but it's an interesting proposition worth a try. I personally don't like these posh and bourgeois environments, but I have to admit a certain taste (if you like golden robinets mounted on winged swans).

Excellent service. I had afternoon tea at Bar Vendôme which came in a three tiered tower. The sandwich was delicious but the scones was just ok. The hot chocolate was really rich and delicious and came with a selection of toppings. The dessert was the difficulty part as we get to choose only one among the sumptuous selection. It would be ideal if they made all these desserts tiny and served them on the three tiered cake stand Tower.

Went to the Hemingway bar. Just amazing. Drinks are pricey but they will be the best cocktails you ever had, guaranteed. Get dressed up. Eat the warm almonds and fresh potato chips. And relax. Amazing

Outstanding!

I love this place. The atmosphere is brilliant (outdoor terrace), the staff are exceptionally polite, helpful and attentive. The drinks and cigars are sublime. The only thing that puts me off going here are the prices. Understandably places like this charge high prices for a reason, but I feel as if they're a little too high. €350-€400 for three cigars and 6 drinks is steep. A gin and tonic is about €30 and the average cocktail more, not to mention the service charge. Now they're good, but I can get a G&T of the same quality in a great hotel bar in London for about half the price (maybe slightly more).

The setting though, is what sets this place part, we went back twice just to enjoy the terrace... it's cool, quiet and calming, great for a relaxing evening with family and friends. The staff ensure that your experience is well managed from the moment you step in the door to the moment you walk out.

I'd do 4.85 if I could, but can't do 5... the prices just get me that little bit too much.

We didn't stay at this Hotel (it's really expensive) but we visited the Hemingway bar. It was pouring with rain when we came out and the doormen got us all umbrellas and couldn't be nicer. Great service with real class. (I took the umbrellas back later)

Best sophisticated bar scene in Paris

Beautiful building renovation at this glamorous address. The interior decor is very classical, but unfortunately mostly made up of fake antiques - very typical luxury, nothing really attracts apart from the history. Friendly service which was a surprise as the place was known to be very snooty before. Good to have it back, wish they would have paid more attention to the decor and made it more original, with things one would actually like to have...most of what they used for furnishings is worthless.

The Ritz is a very nice place to spend time. The suites are chic and refined. You can also dine or have a drink with friends. Everything is perfect.

This is one of the very best cocktail bars in the world. Expensive drinks but totally with it. Even the glass of water on the side is exceptional. Also, the hotel's bathroom are not to be missed.

Recently refurbished, the Ritz is now back up to its reputation. The common areas are richly decorated but with a cozy vibe and the inner courtyard is a real treat on summer days.

We certainly couldn't afford to stay at the hotel, but we spent an extremely enjoyable evening at Bar Hemingway, which we highly recommend. Drinks are expensive, but you're paying for a lot: ambiance, decor, history, and extremely limited space. It's very small, and you are only admitted if there's seating space–no standing room. It makes it feel exclusive and intimate, even though anyone can get in if you're willing to wait a bit.

Also: sounds weird, but this place has the nicest paper napkins I've ever encountered. The level of quality is something it never occurred to me a paper napkin would bother possessing.

Had a few drinks at the Bar Hemingway. They are well designed, well made cocktails with very generous portions. The Negroni is perfect, and you'll find more creative cocktails on the menu as well. It's a small, intimate area decorated with plenty of Hemingway memorabilia.

We each had a couple drinks at Bar Hemingway. Not only were the drinks baller, but the atmosphere was super swanky, and the history around the room was the bee's knees. Would definitely recommend for those who want to get dressed up and have a nice nightcap.

Had an afternoon tea and my partner choose a cheese platter with some wine. We had a fabulous experience. The food was so fresh and so tasteful! We sat in the Vendôme restaurant with a lady playing live piano! It's exactly what you expect from this kind of high end hotel. My next visit in Paris, I'll try to have a breakfast or dinner there!

The Ritz in which the bar was located in is one of the most beautiful hotels I have set foot in. Being a big fan of Hemingway I had to visit the bar bearing his name. The bar itself is very cozy with tables close together (easily overhear other patrons conversation) and its well decorated..like many other reviewers say its like stepping through time. I knew about the €30/drink before setting foot in so the costs didn't shock me. The drink was good but not exceptional. On the day I visited patrons were being put on wait-list after 9pm as the place was full. If this place is on your list of 'to-do' in Paris then come visit, but if you are just looking for a good place to drink there are probably alternatives.

I am rating the Ritz and Hemingway bar in the back which are amazing hidden gems. Find it hidden in the back! The drinks are amazing. They are about 30 euros so be aware of the price.

I always stay at the Ritz when I visit Paris. I stayed away from Paris when the hotel was undergoing its make-over. First-rate service.

Afternoon tea itself is so good (2 for 120€)
-Scones are very delicious
- Sandwiches, I personally don't like that smelly cheese
- Salmon rolls are crispy outside and soft and juicy inside
- Jam pots are half empty and already opened... Are they suppose to be all new?
- Cakes are delicious

Service... Well it's a 5 stars hotel so everything is on point but I can feel that they lack of human touch. I feel that their smiles are so dried and they smile because they need to smile you know what I mean.

Went there for the re-opening. But wanted ro try with my guest the talents of their Barman. Mission accomplished!!!! I just spoke about my mood and tastes in life. He brought me the perfect creation!
