My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights after departing a cruise ship, this was our first visit to beautiful Barcelona. I can’t say enough about this hotel, the location is perfect, the hotel room was amazing and the entire staff was absolutely professional, gracious, accommodating and friendly! We plan to return one day because that gorgeous city needs more than 2 days to explore and we will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is OK. Staff really nice and friendly. But nothing special. Nice location but a little bit far from the beach. And there is no pool and the rooftop is really small and you need to buy drinks to stay there because it's a restaurant....

Renaissance Barcelona has always been my #1 choice for both leisure and business trips whenever I visit Barcelona. The location is great, rooms and facilities are clean, modern and elegant. And most of all, every single staff at the hotel are very helpful, professional and friendly. I got to stay at one of their renovated rooms during my most recent trip and it was a very comfortable stay. Their breakfast buffet is great as well with a nice variety of options. Would highly recommend.

I've been here twice on business, so my four stars are from this kind of my traveling when I don't pay my bills myself. If I were here privately, a full five. I like hotels from this group. A great selection of breakfast food, helpful staff, great location. Excellent business facilities.

Second time staying here and really like the hotel. Not the place to park a van.....it took me 20 minutes to maneuver my way down 2 levels and 30+ minutes (and scratches) to get back up. Of course, this is not a common issue. Definitely a good place if you are looking for an upper mid scale hotel

Stayed here for two nights. Nice hotel with modern decor.
Room was very cold and even though I switched off AC it automatically turned on again, to set a temperature 19C all the time... I felt so cold and had to call a maintenance guy. He fixed it so it would not turn on automatically but my room was still very cold. I asked a housekeeper to bring an extra blanket for the night, a lady came right away and prepared a bed for me. Even though the temperature in the room was perfectly comfortable fo me, the staff were very nice and kind to take care of the problems and I appreciate their attention to details.

Very nice hotel that is close to restaurants, shopping and shops. Whether to enjoy tapas, dinner or to do some shopping this is a hotel that suits. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Some rooms have a balcony which mine did not. Hotel staff is very courteous and accommodating.

Fine hotel, but the room seemed more Sheraton than the plush Renaissance that I expected. Room seemed old-fashioned (how many people can use an alarm clock with the old dock that Apple stopped using with the iPhone 4?) with basic uncarpeted wood floor, desk was a table top, no dresser (just two drawers in closet). Location is good - near bus and Metro and (long) walkable to old city. Overall it was fine, but set your expectations accordingly as a basic Courtyard in the USA would seem plusher.

This hotel is only 15-20 minutes from the airport and about 10-15 minutes from the Cruise Port. The room is small (this is Europe), but beautiful. There is a nice little restaurant in the lobby that serves delicious food (again Europe) and the staff knows what hospitality means... we woke up late the day of check out and told them that we just woke up and needed 1 hour to get out of the room and they kindly allowed us the hour without charging us more... so nice...

I've stayed here multiple times. The staff is good and the property is clean and maintained. I'm a fan of the location, in a quieter area, centrally located and short walls to the Plaza, La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter and the Born district. The only negative is the size of my room this time. I've stayed here a few times and the rooms were bigger, this time it's very small (even though I was told I was upgraded).

Absolutely PERFECT location for this hotel! My wife and I spent a full week here on a vacation during late August. You are right on the bus lines and a stone's throw away from the main Subway lines. The staff is incredibly attentive and the rooms are great! The real gem of this place is the rooftop bar and lounge. Great for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing!

The Renaissance Barcelona is a nicely located hotel with clean rooms and good service. I'm not sure why but they don't necessarily give slippers to their guests unless specially requested. There are no ice rooms on the floor but guest services are more than happy to bring anything you need directly to your room.

Not a far walk to Las Ramblas. Super, I mean super people. Thursday and Friday nights during our stay there was live music. Roof top bar is the place to go. Thank you Matthew and Paul at the bar. Very good to us!

A convenient location to many of the sights in Barcelona. The staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. The food and drinks are substantial and tasty. The atmosphere is friendly and guests mingle freely. We would definitely return.

Acceptable hotel but being in the middle of town lacks atmosphere at a very busy road. More a business hotel than for leisure. As it is hard to get hold on to a taxi be sure to order one upfront.

Small hotel just blocks from all the landmarks you want to be around. The hotel has key card security to the elevators and looks absolutely beautiful. The beds are super plush and soft. Would recommend but watch out going for drinks ! All the corners in this area literally look the same so make sure to have it saved to your gps

Anyway there is a terrace, an actual gym with weights and several machines, and a restaurant. Overall I was pleased with the room, service, and amenities. Oh and it's centrally located to everything!

Wonderful location in the middle of the best areas of Barcelona. Short walk to Las Ramblas, nice walk to Sagrada Familia. If you don't want to make the walk, amazing views from the 8th floor terrace lounge. Very nice team and nice breakfast, too.

Amazing hotel, service excellent with the hotel being centrally located you can walk practically anywhere and everywhere. Metro station a block away. Love this place. Food very decent..rooftop bar opens till very late, opens only at 9am. Meaning if you want to catch the sunrise too bad..overall I loved this place. Definately worth it

The rooms are not small for Europe! Obviously these people are not well traveled. The rooms are good size and executive are LARGE. The staff are very friendly, the restaurants are well staffed...even breakfast, decor is trendy and new. Beds are super comfortable and twin rooms are extra wide...not American twin. Great location for getting around to all attractions

Stayed there for 6 days. Overall nice hotel in a great location. Rooms are a bit small, there is a "weird cleaning smell" all over the place, probably from using a specific detergent.

Great hotel! Very clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that the lighting is terrible in the bathroom, but aside from that it's a perfect five stars. I also recommend the breakfast buffet. Plenty of options including items to be ordered with the waiter. Staff spoke english and were very kind. They brought toothpaste up to my room when I realized I'd run out. Great location within walking distance to many fabulous restaurants and popular tourist sites. Absolutely recommend this hotel!
