Beautiful rooms, staff very helpful. We arrived for a 3 day stay and found we had been given a free upgrade. The gym is small but very usable, free weights plus elliptical, treadmill and bike. Sauna and garden on the roof, easy check in process. Would absolutely stay here again

Designed to prioritize form over function. The staff were friendly and good-looking, but the concierge admitted she was from France and didn't know the area well. Our room (a junior suite) was well decorated but cramped and dark, with the exception of the bedroom which had only transparent curtains. The sink was an impressive 3 feet wide, but left no room for counter space. Unfortunately I think they tried too hard for a "boutique" hotel look, and neglected the details that can make a hotel stay more comfortable.

The service is great,
The hotel is clean, elegant, and decorated tastefully.
The room was wide and clean, and the rooftop of the hotel is a nice bonus, with it's swimming pool and sauna.
The location is quite good, a walking distance from most of the famous attractions.
I wish the spa wasn't that exepensive, so that we could enjoy it too.

But the furnishings all need updating. Overall maintenance of the place is not 5 star. The exercise room on the roof is a joke - tiny. Lobby needs a lounge to liven it up. Good location for walking. The breakfast is average. They don't seem to know how to cook eggs.

Boutique hotel in top area. HOTEL: from the doorman to wait staff, our experience was professional, courteous and sincere. I used the concierge service for attraction tickets, restaurants, directions and they made our stay memorable. Excellent roof top restaurant with exciting dishes of high quality food.
LOCATION: Waking distance to a number of Guadi must sees, high end fashion shops and very good full service restaurants in addition cafes and tapas.
Exquisite room decor. They even provide a cell phone to avoid needing a SIM card and it can be used as a hotspot.

I could not stay at any other hotel in Barcelona.

Charming building, great location, but not ideal for a working trip. Arty, tastefully furnished room, but no chair or working space.

We were here for a big group meal. The food was superb. The venue is nice but very noisy for a large group as it is not acustically damped. It was hard to keep a conversation. The staff and the service was ok, but probably bellow what you should expect for the category of the hotel.

The room looked nice at the beginning, but it’s not functional: there’s no working desk and the bed side tables are so small they barelly hold your wallet. The service during breakfast is rude and bad. The gym is the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel and only opens at 7am. This is far from being a 5* hotel.

It's beautiful and very unknown to tourists other than hotel guests. Unfortunately prices are on the high side.

Fantastic service. This hotel will accommodate your every wish & go out of their way to assist you. They even went & got our medical prescriptions. A++++. Thank you to the staff & management. One very important thing,the hotel pumps perfume through the AC system & incense. The "scent" can be quite strong. This is the only reason for 4 stars

Really good service, quite near of public transport and of one of the most important flower store. Rooms really full equiped with sauna, bath.. i would recomend a room with more sun ligh, as its when you really enjoy on the morning.

The hospitality was amazing. They give you a phone when you check in that you can use for unlimited calling anywhere and it's also a Wi-Fi hotspot. I don't know what we would have done without it. We saw so much of the city, it was extremely helpful. Food and drinks were great. And the blinds in the room are the best thing known to man.

The roof top terrace has an amazing view. Good service and food. Perfect to chill out

Bello, nuovo, moderno, un weekend da sogno, davvero da sogno! Prenotato in fretta e furia, senza troppe ricerche, abbiamo colto un buon prezzo su Booking e ci siamo innamorati di questo hotel! Un servizio impeccabile, in posizione centrale, davvero un super posto per vivere Barcellona come si deve. Sulla città niente da dire: sono 5 volte che ci vado e ogni volta non sogno altro che tornarci. Meravigliosa.

The hotel is super nice with great service. Wonderful details, comfortable bed, great location.
Only little things like towel hook on the wrong side of the shower... also since there is only the rainmaker shower head and the water turning knob at the back of the shower you make get too cold or too hot shower before getting the right temperature - an extra hand-held shower head would solve this and be a nice addition. But one may use the bubble bath altogether :-).
I wish their pool hours would also operate little longer (either earlier or later from 10am to 8pm).
Restaurant downstairs is also tasty... little vegan stuff but super delicious.
Definitely a place I would come again!

Cons:
- Uncomfortable Breakfast room (-1 Floor)
- some breakfast staff realy unfriendly
- breakfast staff payed no attention to some guests
- dinner reservation: at servicedesk they did not told us, that there was a private event at the terrasse. They placed us at a cold opposite room with no view.

One of the finest hotel experiences I have had. Everything about this hotel is perfection. The staff are exemplary and cannot do enough to make your stay as wonderful as possible.

Can't fault anything about this hotel. A massive bonus given for the fact they provide guests with a smart phone which can be used as a wifi hotspot and to make free international calls.
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and the room was really unique.

Incredibly helpful staff, room is beautiful and overlooks the street. Amenities are fantastic and the location is perfect, central and easy to get to anywhere you might want to visit!

Hotel Claris and myself had a rocky beginning but after expressing my concerns to the manager all issues were resolved with full professionalism.
Overall great stay and most likely the best you can get for your money.
The great location and beautiful art worth the extra penny. Service can be improved even though that might be due to cultural differences.

My husband and I have stayed here the last 2 years now and I can't say enough about it. The staff is so amazing and attentive, very helpful and helped us with last minute reservations. The beds are so comfy and the bathtub was so relaxing. I am planning another trip to Barcelona and I hope to stay again.

The location is perfect and the price is right. I love it!
