Great hotel, rooms where big and spacious.

Breakfast had a lot of options, including a custom omelet bar.

The hotel is really close to every thing in Barcelona, with or without the underground.

Tried the tapas on the terrace and it was top quality. Would come back to this hotel.

Really nice hotel that is close to everything. Priced right, and very clean. But, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We'll be back hopefully sooner than later

This is a 5* hotel and they stand by it. Majority of staff very helpful and the majority smile and say morning etc. Breakfast is wow. Location excellent. If you want a great experience, stay here. I will be returning with fiance.

I cannot recommend this hotel despite their nice pool and spa after our five night stay in early August. The amenities may be appealing but overall it is not worth poor treatment and the poor air conditioning.

Right when we checked in we were told that we would have to pay in total up front for our five night stay. I have never been asked to do that for such a lengthy stay at a four star hotel in Spain. But they probably do this because their hotel lacks basic amenities like good AC and has spotty wifi in places. We did not try to leave the hotel but if we did I wonder if they would have refunded our money. We felt very uneasy signing such a large bill but felt like we had no choice after just arriving.

The AC could not be set at a steady temp and this made it very uncomfortable. So either it was suffer a hot and humid room or freeze as the thermometer failed to turn off at any set temp. This was true even after we moved rooms because I found a bed bug after our fourth night. I was told by the hotel staff that the AC is a problem throughout the hotel and switching rooms would not help.

On our fourth night, I discovered a bed bug and killed one that was full of blood, likely mine. I also then realized I had bug bites on me. I informed the hotel the next morning, and immediately began to regret that decision. We were prevented from entering our room for what was at least an hour and essentially wasted about two hours in the morning waiting for them to decide what to do. They told us they found the bugs and would need to decide whether we could stay in the hotel or be required to leave because we may have brought the bugs with us. We had stayed already almost two weeks in Spain at only two hotels without finding bugs or bug bites. The fact that I didn't discover the bug and bites upon myself until the fourth night tells me the bugs were very likely already in their room. They finally told us they would move us to another room (a smaller room to boot even though we already paid for a larger one) but we would need to place our luggage in plastic bags. The second room had similar AC problems.

I can appreciate that the bed bugs were an isolated incident as they claimed and they did not know how to handle the situation. I can also understand them never offering any type of refund as a gesture as these things happen and may not be in their control. But they made a stressful situation even worse by making us feel responsible and threatening that we may have to leave the hotel.

In the end, even if the bed bugs were an isolated incident, I would not recommend the hotel due to the poor AC and one star treatment. So don't be fooled by the pool.

This hotel is very comfortable. The staff are friendly & obliging. The bathroom has been modernised & is spacious. The bedroom has a light & airy feel. It is also located in a very Central position.

The breakfast was amazing with good coffee and espresso . Location is excellent , right in front of the Catalonia cathedral which is one of the main attractions in Barcelona. The vicinity is nice walking area have a lot of shops and some brands with a good prices especially in the sale. Also the traditional weekly market held at the open area between the hotel and the Cathedral . Few minutes to Rambla street

I was impressed with this hotel from start to finish. The breakfast was amazing every morning and the staff was extremely helpful. Beautiful room, and a very nice terrace with a pool. Made my stay in Barcelona unforgettable!

Comfortable, clean, pool, gym, good breakfast options. AC, WiFi. Good service. Good location. Close to a number of shopping areas and not too far from the marina. Pool and gym aren't 24hr!

One thing - beware of salt - food in Barcelona can be awesome, but so heavily salted!

The hotel is beautiful. Bar is quiet and it is not yet summer so the outside restaurant and bar wasn’t open but we did take pics. Shower was amazing and the bed is so comfortable. Our room has its own balcony and pool. Unfortunately the weather and rain aren’t allowing us to take advantage. We got in early and they had a room without issue. Took a nap and then ventured out to see the city. We came back and the beds had been remade,
A sweet indulgence left bedside and water. We will be saving this hotel for our next trip to Barcelona. 5 Stars all the way.

A well situated hotel. It has good hotel bar lounges/cafes and a decent outdoor pool area. The rooms are varied. Some even have their own small pool. I was very satisfied with the room that I had. However, I was there to visit my friend's mother and friend from the USA, who were with a tour group. I was definitely not impressed by the part of the hotel they were all in. The staff were pleasant and professional.

Excellent location: next to Plaça Catalunya. Excellent service, the staff is very pleasant. Very clean, large bathroom, comfortable beds. A very delicious breakfast with pastries, a variety of drinks, scrambled eggs and snacks. The best impressions.

For my first time in Europe I thought this hotel was great! Though check in is a bit longer than I am used to in the US, they just operate differently. The room was modern, clean and beautiful. All the staff was friendly, spoke English and was always willing to assist me with anything I needed. It was the guests I found to be rude, ironically. The spa (hot tub) was amazing. Who needs and massage therapist with a spa like that! Everything was in walking distance including some of the best restaurants. The only reason I knew where to go and how to get there was because of their awesome bartender Victor. Very personable and helpful. He took the time to understand what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go and drew everything out on the map for me. Not to mention he makes the best strawberry Mojitos.

Management was always available for me and made sure I was having a good stay with them.

Very helpful staff and great facilities. Good central location with easy access to public and tourist transport.

I think this hotel is good. I did not feel that the the people in the reception was unfriendly, though the check-in took long time. The room was clean and nice.

This hotel is like a maze, I got lost several times. The lobby smells very strongly of some horrible chemical cleaner or perfume. Very dark internal rooms. Didn't love it. Great location though.

The hotel is in a super prime spot for anyone wanting to visit Barcelona. The place is great and the customer service is super friendly. The place is perfect in many ways. I
The spa is not so great as the sauna wasnt working when we were there. But other than that its really great.

Rooms lovely! Staff very friendly! Location very good! Quite close to hard rock cafe, McDonald's etc and had a good few bars around. I have a fussy husband who didn't like the look of the menu so we have not tried the food!

Great hotel only a few minutes walk from the top of the Ramblas, so in a very good location. There is a Starbucks opposite for breakfast. It has a pool as well with outdoor seating and bar. The gym only had a few pieces of equipment in it. Spacious rooms and bathroom.

Outstanding! Situated in a perfect location for all your needs in Barcelona, modernly decored and filled with the most helpful and friendly staff. Nare, a lovely lady working on reception really went out her way to provide me with all my needs right away. The buffet breakfast is all you can ask for along with a cheerful lady cooking up eggs eggsactly how you like them 😀 The generously sized pool surprisingly gets a lot of sun for being in the Centre of the city 😎 perfect to get the tan started before hitting the beach. I highly recommend this hotel to all!

Very central and staff quite attentive and helpful. It is Not in the Ramblas but close... Rooms have no drawers at all !! Should have some form of night lighting. The hotel is a kind of maze! Spa is closed for renovation and the Internet does not signal this! Breakfast is great.

Its a nice, clean hotel. The breakfast was good. We had a nice room with a lovely terrace. Very good location, you can walk to La Rambla. A bus stop nearby, a lot of shops, restaurants and Starbucks in the area.

An awesome hotel near Placa Catalunya. It's quiet, comfortable, but the real marvel is the breakfast. This hotel offers the best breakfast I've had in Barcelona.

Stayed here for business for a few days. Do have to admit that this place offers very good value for money. The hotel appears to be modernised recently. Rooms are very large (at least mine was) and come with good air-conditioning, balcony and great beds. Breakfast is like it suppose to be. Only, small, downside is that the layout of the hotel is like a maze: you will get lost every now and then looking for elevators and such, but there is always friendly personell nearby to help you.

I've been there last May, the reception people are not friendly at all, the room was fine but the experience overall didn't meet my expectations
