I went to rooftop bar which is very nice, cozy and good service. When I left the bar, by the accident my shoes got broken. And in the elevator one of the staff saw it and asked me if she can offer me an thread and needle for me. Even though I wasn’t a guest in their hotel she was being vey nice. It’s pity I didn’t ask her name but I’m very appreciate for her help and I would love to go back to this hotel and even recommend who visit Barcelona. If you can see this little attention to walk in customer, you can trust overall this hotel’s customer service. Thanks a lot the girl who helped me and I strongly recommend this hotel who is checking the reviews. I’m writing this right after my visit. So thanks to their service. I’d love to see her again.

An amazing hotel, highly recommended!
The staff are very attentive and the attention to detail has been exceptional in all aspects of our 7 day stay. The location is perfect and the food in the restaurant located on the ground floor lounge was great. We didn't try the infamous 3 Michelin star resturant but if our meal/experience was anything to go by i doubt you would be disappointed.

Beautiful experience! Near major brand stores, next door to Rolex and Hermès. I stayed in the junior suite and had the most peaceful sleep of my life after a 13 hour flight. I had such patient and caring service who helped with my other flight bookings and more. I would recommend this hotel but I do agree that the rooms are smaller than usual.

Also, whoever knows what fragrance they used in the hotel, can please let me know. I need that in my home.

We stayed in Monument Hotel from the 29th April 2018 till 8th May 2018, for my daughter Shradhas wedding with dashing Spanish boy Antonio. Our family stayed there and had such an amazing time, the staff was so friendly specially Juan at the front desk and also the other boys. The morning breakfast was a pleasure due to the Ever smilling Milena cheerful everyday. Sasha enjoyed the beef burger at the restaurant.The Rooms were always cleaned sometimes 2-3 times a day. You know how weddings are where we are all always rushing. We were at peace with all our valuables safe in the lockers . My grand daughter Norah,sat on a high chair which we wanted to buy, I told Juan and one of the boys and very next day we got a message that it was available at a mall, (thanks for the help from office staff at front desk) from where my husband picked it up. They also booked tickets for us for Sagrada de Familia. You ask for anything and it was there, room service excellent. Jo Milano toiletries were a pleasure,so also the minibar with my grand- daughter Myra enjoying the gummy bears. Great location good restaurants around the place, especially sea food lovers a must visit to Asante Madre restaurant close by I would love to stay again at this hotel and recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the high quality of hospitality to stay at Monument Hotel!!!!!!

Cuando entras en un hotel de 5 estrellas la exigencia es máxima.
La Barcelona del siglo XXI convertida en una ciudad para el turista de toda las gammas ha permitido proliferar un sin fin de hoteles y algunos de ellos de lujos y, por lo tanto, ya no estamos limitados al Majestic, Juan Carlos I y un par más como era antes de la Barcelona del 92.

1.- La ubicación(10/10): es fabulosa (también lo es la del Mandarín, Casa Fuster; Majestic, Omm, etc. de misma categoría y todos en la misma calle)
2.- El servicio(6/10): es correcto.
3.- El diseño/espacio(6/10): Espero mucho más de un 5 estrellas. Hay demasiada buena oferta en Barcelona (Hotel W o Arts con sus vistas al Mar; el Hotel Florida y sus vistas a la ciudad; el Hotel Mercer con su encanto y delicadeza; y, un largo etc.)
4.- El bar(5/10): bien, esperaba mucho más.
5.- Habitaciones(9/10): Muy bien. A la altura de las expectativas.

Haciendo honor a su nombre, se encuentra junto a la Casa Batlló, en un palacete del siglo XIX restaurado con mucho respeto. Además su cocina está asesorada por Martín Berasategui.

Exceptional....service, food, facility's, location, and the room, with a real comfortable bed, I have finally slept a whole night. We have been living and traveling in Europe for a month so far. I am in love with this hotel and Barcelona. Beyond 5 stars! We will be back. This location is wondeful, I have enjoyed wandering this neighborhood. Shopping, popular sites, restaurants are all in safe walking distance. The staff treats us like royalty. The breakfast is so different, each plate delivered, no buffet here.

Great service, decoration and attention to details. Modern art inspired in an old building. Will def be back
