The Omni Charlotte Hotel sits adjacent to more than 30 shops and restaurants at the Shops on the Square in the heart of the financial and entertainment district in downtown Charlotte. Truly an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in the door, we were welcomed and appreciated. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The service was impeccable and with that southern charm! Jason our bartender was friendly, courteous and made us the best craft cocktails! Looking forward to our next trip!

Appearance of the hotel was great. The greeting was very professional. And that the lobby desk getting checked in was fast and easy. Checking out was also a great experience going through the bill and not being overcharged for anyting. The best could have been little bit more comfortable and the pillows also and a bathroom light could have been a little brighter. But all in all had a great experience saying at the Omni Hotel. Really like the new makeover of everything at the Omni and the poolside.

My first time staying at the Omni was the most amazing experience! I was able to stay in a renovated room with a great view. The staff was more than helpful. Check in was so easy and the staff recommended some great places! Uptown Charlotte is a busy place with lots to do! Choose the OMNI!!

First and foremost, the staff is excellent. Polite and accommodating without fault. We stayed in what must be a pre-renovation room, because it was pretty worn out. When we first went to check-in, the room wasn't ready. We waited two hours and we had to contact the front desk to find out the room was ready. We were told that they would text us when it was ready. The pool wasn't always appropriate to have an elementary aged child at with the music (explicit lyrics) and the volume. The rooftop is pretty nice otherwise. Location is great with lots of walkable destinations.

My husband and I got a room here this past Saturday night for our anniversary. The staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities were beautiful, and everything was very clean. They even gave us a complimentary red velvet cake for our anniversary. The fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night (both false alarms), but the manager ended up refunding half of what we paid for the room and not charging us for room service. We thought that was more than generous. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be staying here again.

I would have gave 5 stars but the bar chick upstairs need to get more customer service training and stop drinking on the job. The Caucasian short girl that work on July 7 around 3:00 pm . She served me a hot beer and thought it was ok . The Omni needs someone better to Represent them . Now that Manager guy that was working his behind off bringing food to that party he is a keeper . He was very professional and helpful . I asked him questions about reserving the area for a party. I loved his customer service it was top notch.

Very beautiful hotel! I’ve stayed here in the past for a conference and they updated the rooms and they’re very nice. I only went to the pool but it’s great and the bar was nice as well. I’d definitely stay again! It’s connected to a lot of restaurants and the Epicenter too. It’s next to everything, great location. At the time I was there the city was having a water issue though and the water and air went out so I checked out. The staff was very gracious and helpful before this and during the situation !

The rooms are all very nice and the beds comfortable, so that was good. I am one of those that enjoys jumping in the pool, and they have a nice one, that is set for everyone. The deep end is well marked and roped off, so it is excellent for swimming and diving. I truly enjoyed my stay.

My wife and I received a gift card from friends who have frequented the Omni Charlotte Hotel so we decided to splurge a little bit for our first Anniversary. We decided to go with the Love and Luxury Package - it was wonderful.

When we arrived, the valet was prompt and efficient. We went up to the Lobby and the individual at the desk was very helpful. I can't remember her name or I'd give her a shout out here. She explained everything very well and asked what time we should have our amenities delivered to the suite.

The Suite was beautiful with a great view of Uptown Charlotte. Our package came with 2 robes, 2 small champagne bottles, some strawberries (chocolate covered!!!!) and when we told them it was our anniversary, they threw in a complimentary dessert!

To summarize: Our stay was great and we will absolutely come back to the Omni Charlotte Hotel in the future for special occasions.

Always a good experience here. The location is central to everything which is very convenient. The only real parking option is to let the valet do it (city parking). Lobby bar is small but fun. Located adjacent to a multi story shopping district with restaurants and bars. Noise can be an issue, but they provide white noise machines upon request. I recommend getting a room above the third floor (which overlooks the pool) if you want some peace and quiet.

This is a great hotel. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and it’s in a great location. Also if you are a gym goer the relationship with the on-site Charlotte Athletic Club is amazing. Best hotel gym I have ever been too. It pretty much has any piece of equipment you could want and heavy free weights.

The only knock is the valet parking cost but that seems to be about the going rate.

The hotel is under going a major renovation, some sparse decor is certain places, but overall will be very nice. Justin at the front desk, when I checked in was very friendly, understanding of a veteran business traveler and was a model employee and ambassador for Omni. I was usually up and out by 6:30am, 3 of the 4 morning I was there. On the only morning I didn't have a meeting and slept in late, was awakened to the sound of concrete drilling at 8:10am. Love the morning beverage delivery service in the mornings for their loyalty program members. Would definitely come back in the future.

Very nice hotel, extremely polite and courteous staff. Rooms have been recently remodeled and we're very nice. One minor complaint on the weekends directly across the street there are several outdoor music venues that can be quite loud. On the other hand it's a short walk two lots of interesting eating places and music venues. Really enjoyed the stay.

I stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and found many things that were not the best. The bathroom light switch is hidden behind the bathroom door and hard to get at. The power plugs at the desk are inconveniently placed to plug in a laptop. The automatic curtain system only opens or closes the curtains fully, no partially open and closed is possible. The water pressure in the shower was fairly low, and the water did not get hot even when the cold was fully turned off. Also, whenever I tried calling the Front Desk, it gave only a busy signal. I had to call from my cellphone.

Great price through priceline. Stayed 2 nights. Staff all great exception of front desk. Parking 30 a night unlimited valet. Dog friendly a big plus, closest grass area a block away n not great

Three stars is being generous... Hotel is not visible when finding location. No hotel shuttle...ridiculous! Price of room is EXTREMELY high for little to no amenities!!! No where to hang your towels in bathroom. You have to ask for housekeeping to service your room. However, customer service is great and with a smile!

Loved this hotel, everything is in walking distance, service is fantastic!!!! Justin at the front desk will help you with anything that you need with a huge smile on his face. We discovered this hotel chain by chance in Orlando FL. The Omni resort in there is amazing!! We are in a road trip from South Florida and our next stay will be at the Omni Hotel in Washington DC :)

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was unobtrusive and kept my room fresh and clean. The shower had hot water. The staff was nice and accommodating.

There was construction on the pool, courtyard, and in the area of the lobby by the meeting rooms. It was not noisy. The debris was well contained.

I stayed 3 nights. On Saturday night, there was loud music outside until 2am. There was a group of people talking and laughing loudly in the hallway. Security was called. Sirens we're heard multiple times during the night.

I was able to walk via skyways to local restaurants without having to drive. (There is a paid parking garage below the hotel.)

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will return again.

Our visit was wonderful! We were greeted by Ms. Taylor at check in, who in our opinion, exceeded the customer service experience. The room was beautiful, fabulous valet team & room service was spot on! The construction noise was extremely minimal & looking forward to next visit when it is completed. One small hiccup, as we went to the bar in the evening but after sitting there for 5 minutes, we had not even been greeted. They weren't terribly busy so we went elsewhere. Otherwise, highly recommend.

I was here in Charlotte for a few days on a business trip. The rooms seem dated the bathrooms were very small the shower was small I was very dissatisfied with the size of the rooms for the for the money I paid. The service was awesome and the parking was nice and I did like how close I was to all the downtown features. So I guess you need to weigh out what you want either proximity or accommodations. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and will be back

Beautiful hotel over a very convenient mall underneath the hotel. Convenient to everything downtown in Charlotte. Friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast buffet (NOT free). Construction underway when we were there in October 2017 made it extremely difficult to access, but hopefully will be resolved soon.

Hotel was undergoing renovations, so it wasn't as nice as expected. However, the furnishings and decor were outdated, so renovations are for the best. Staff were polite and helpful. It would have been helpful if hotel guests received a discount on overnight parking.

Location was great for EpiCenter and other downtown areas. In 11° weather it was a bit of a chilly walk to the convention center. All staff were very friendly and adept. Check-in and valet parking were both easy and quick. Unfortunately our room left a little to be desired. Obviously older, the air conditioner didn't work although we had maintenance to our room 3 times in one evening. The amount of condensation from the windows was amazing...it puddles every few minutes and left the floor wet. The bathroom was tiny and also had a moisture issue. For $180/night I would have expected much better. Won't stay there again.

The room was comfortable and had an amazing view of uptown. The staff was accommodating at all ours. My only complaint is the location as it is connected to a very busy mall. That can't be helped but it was a great stay nonetheless.

Once the remodeling is complete this location will be awesome. I wouldn't have booked it if I new there was construction going on. I was here for 4 nights. Stayed in the old section for 3 nights and asked to relocated to a room with a better room my last day. Remodeled and very nice. The TV tiled and most channels were unwatchable in both rooms.

So much construction. For the price of the rooms, I would have expected better quality. My room was very humid and run down. Even with my ac turned to 65, it was warm. I could hear the construction workers outside my room in the 7th floor. It wasn't a horrible stay...I just expected better.

The staff and the Walgreen's(as well as various other shops) in the hotel make this place a real treat. I have to admit the decor is a bit dated and parts of the hotel look rundown..BUT they are revamping so I can't wait to see the finished product. This hotel is located in the heart of the Epicenter so if a quiet retreat is what you seek on the weekend this will not be the spot for you.Also, the walls are super thin so you can hear everything in the halls and next door to you. The bathrooms have no ventilation so every thing gets steamy and wet. But the staff..the staff make this place all worth it.Hopefully, once the renovation is done it will be alot better.All in all I give them a 4 for location, views, service/staff and cool vibe.

A beautiful hotel and prime location in the heart of Uptown. Entire hotel was pristine and the service from each staff member was exceptional. The amenities such as the mini mall on ground floor and the multi story gym set this hotel above and beyond. This is our go to when we're traveling

The downtown location is perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had really good pressure which you don't find in many hotels. No coffee maker and fridge in the rooms

We spent our wedding anniversary here (one night). The room was clean, staff was nice, everything was great until we were charged an additional $130 hours after check out for the mini bar in the room which we did not touch. When confronted about the charge via the phone guest service immediately offered a refund and no explanation of why we were charged for the untouched items in the first place. Now we have to wait 5 days for a refund. Be careful and check your bank account after staying here! If this problem would have not occurred I would have given this hotel an higher rating.

The good: The hotel was relatively easy to find and upon arrival, we were greeted promptly by the valet staff. All of the staff were friendly and check in/out was a breeze. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I liked that the elevators required key card recognition to reach the room-level floors.

The bad: The valet parking was the only available parking nearby and it was $24 a night on top of the room rate which I found outrageous. Most of the hotel was under construction so the entryway to the hotel from the parking garage was not very appealing and the view from our room was simply construction as well. I chose this hotel for a special occasion for my significant other and I and I was truly disappointed. I have stayed in very upscale hotels and resorts around the world and for the price I paid, I was expecting something similar but I felt that the room we were provided was on the level of a Courtyard Marriott or Holiday Inn. I wish I had saved my money and stayed in a cheaper hotel where I would've received the same level of service, free parking and an equally decorated/comfortable room.

I highly doubt I will be staying with the Omni again.

Let me be clear. I gave 5 stars because of the professionalism of Kelly. The hotel is 3 stars. The room and bathroom in the double queen were small especially for price in my opinion. But everyone was very courteous and professional. Had to leave because the pool was under renovation but Kelly took care of my family.

I'm here on business, facilities are great, however, there is construction going on which makes it difficult to present. This would be a 5 star experience had we not been told that construction wouldn't be an issue. Very nice and courteous staff and the food is excellent. Beds and room are very comfortable.

Love the Valet service, concierge attendants were awesome. The bed was so fluffy n outside view as everything. Prime spot to walk to the bars n restaurants n partying. The Hotel have a lot to do downstairs as well. Attendants at front desk was awesome. We will b back. Second time staying at an Omni Hotel.. Didn't get the full service of the Hotel because of the remodeling.

While there is quite a bit of construction going on around, the police seem to keep the traffic flowing gracefully even on a Saturday night. The staff was more than accommodating even though we arrived at the hotel almost six hours after the check in time. The room smelled fresh and was very inviting. My son was tickled because my name appeared on the television. The mattresses were the perfect blend of softness and luxury. Our pillows felt as if they were made of clouds. The breakfast buffet was good, but very spare for the amount of money you pay. Our table was dirty, and our waiter Brion wasn't very attentive to our needs and wants. We received our check before I ordered a cup of coffee and we had just returned from the buffet. Everyone from the valets to the front desk hosts have been warm, friendly, and professional. I will be returning soon.

The hotel is very nice but the walls and windows are thin. I can sleep through anything, but if you are sensitive to that, you might want to look elsewhere. The hotel was in a great location. Lots of restaurants, bars, and music!

This is the best experience I have had at a hotel hands down, the room was great, the staff was very professional and a joy to be around, we got breakfast in the morning and Marisha took care of our table and was super nice. I left my expensive prescription sunglasses there and they are sending them to me FedEx 3 day for free. So convenient and a sharp looking building. I can't say enough good things about experience there. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Charlotte!

The property is nicely updated and has an incredibly friendly staff. The housekeeping staff in particular is unbelievably nice! We will definitely stay here again.

You can also walk to many places including Dean and Deluca, a movie theater, shops and more. Also The Palm and Wolfgang Puck both offer room service to this property. We order WP, and it was so easy, fast and delicious!

I have stayed here on several occasions. Always have been impressed. One time I had an issue with the guests next door but that was handled by the staff. Beautiful hotel and staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is always a nice touch along with the evening reception. Parking is easy and free at this location.

It's OK, older, decent rooms, very small bathrooms. I am 5ft 8in, tall 155lbs and had to be a contortionist to close the bathroom door. Service was decent. Good coffee in lobby for morning. But a bit over priced if you do not get special rates. It is convenient to walk to food, and convention center. Convention center is 10min walk

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights over the Christmas holiday. The room was very quiet even though it was right next to the elevator. We had plenty of space, a comfortable bed and even a small sofa and chair. I requested a mini refrigerator and it was in the room when I arrived. The valet parking was $24...

No hair dryer for my wife. Bed seems to slant when laying on it. Otherwise room was nice. Room service was good. Heater for room did not work all that well and was noisy.

Great sheets. Beds are quite nice. Bar was awesome. Check in was super speedy. There is a hint of noise from the epicenter. But when the air is running it isn't too bad. Room service breakfast seems exceptionally expensive. 11.00 plus delivery and forced grat for coffee, juice and toast. But otherwise I'm very happy with the place. Walking distance to so much. Great service. I'd stay again but would not break the bank to do so.

First and foremost, if you're going to stay at this hotel from Thursday-Saturday, do yourself a large favor and make sure you get a room as far on the north side as you can in the front of the hotel.. This is due to a rooftop night club that has a permit to play LOUD music until 2AM. You can hear every lyric as clear as day and feel all the bass. Now to the other stuff - I thought the rooms were plenty spacious, as I was first in a room with a single King and then moved to a 2 Queen room. The only issue I had with the rooms is the cleanliness of the drinking glasses on the bathroom counter. They were disgusting. It appeared as if they had not been cleaned off after the previous guest (it looked like) used it as a toothbrush holder. The other one had what looked like dried saliva around the rim dripping down. To be fair, I did not notify the hotel about this, I just chose not to use them. Moving on - The catered food for our meeting was INCREDIBLE! The hotel ambience itself was very nice. The rooms, except for the music were great too. In fairness to them, the staff was very accommodating when I asked to be moved to another room because of it. The hotel restaurant was okay. The hotel bar was nice too, but the male bartender wasn't all that friendly - very efficient, but not sociable. The female bartender was a bit better socially, and equally efficient. The hotel is right in the middle of everything downtown. I would recommend this hotel overall because there is no hotel downtown that is not affected by the noise according to the concierge. He stated that all the hotels complain about it, but there is nothing they can do as the nightclub secured some kind of permit from the city to where it can't be stopped.

I was there for a conference and the room we were in was nice. The provided breakfast and lunch were phenomenal! We ate at the restaurant/bar for dinner and the service was good, the food was decent but there was a very limited selection

Very nice, clean amd friendly. Only critique is that the bathrooms have an odd layout and the shower was difficult to get on and out of. If someone has mobility issues they should probably book over the phone and ask about accessible rooms. I would definitely stay again, and hope I get the opportunity.

Staff was friendly and helpful, and room was clean. Location is great, there must have been two dozen restaurants in walking distance. With that said, value is OK given the price.

I stayed with your hotel a few weeks ago and wanted to let you know about my experience. I was looking up different hotels in the area and determined I was going to stay at the Omni. I looked at the rooms, prices and availability. I'd received a groupon email with a 20% off discount available so looked to see if the Omni was an option and it was. I booked a double queen for the weekend of July 23rd for 2 nights. I received my confirmation and was all set. The day of my arrival came and I was driving up with another couple and was going to be meeting my husband up there. He arrived before I did so he checked in. Once in the room he called me and said that it had only 1 king bed in it and tried to switch it to what we booked, but was told by a young woman that there were no other rooms available. She said that there a conference going on and all of the double queens were booked and when my reservation was sent from groupon it was for a single king bed. I called groupon to try to figure out what was going on. I spoke with a young lady who said that they did send over the correct information and it did say the room was suppose to be a double queen. I called and spoke with a manager named Greg and explained what was going on. He said the same thing basically. That groupon sent over the wrong reservation and there was nothing they could do because they were full. He suggested that I call groupon back and speak with a manger there. I did so and was told that they were going to call the Omni and get it straightened out. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case and groupon said that the Omni overbooked their double queen bedrooms and there wasn't anything else available. I arrived at the hotel and spoke with another young lady who said she was the manager. I told her the predicament and asked if there was anything that could be done. She looked at a couple of things in the computer and said that there wasn't anything that could be done at that point. I headed up to the room that my husband was in and looked around online to see if there were any other hotels available. I wasn't able to find anything comparable so wasn't sure what to do. I contacted groupon and was transferred to a manager named Brian. He apologized for the mix up and said that he would give a 50% refund for the hassle. That was very nice, but still didn't fix our bed situation. I called down to the front desk and asked for a pull out bed which they said they didn't have. I then asked for some blankets so we could try to make a bed on the floor. I thought maybe they would send up some comforters since we had to sleep on the floor, but instead they sent the thinnest blankets they had. The next morning arrived and both guys were pretty exhausted due to not being able to sleep comfortably on the floor. I decided to call down again and see if anything changed. A young lady answered and I asked if there were any other rooms available to which she replied no. I then asked for a manager. A man got on the line and said his name was Greg. I asked if it was customary to treat their customers this horrific and he became very disgruntled. He said he wasn't the manager and couldn't do anything to help me. I asked again to speak with a manager. Finally a gentleman named Jonathan came on the line. I explained everything to him and he immediately apologized and said that there was a double queen becoming available and would reserve it for me. He made sure that the transition was smooth and kept in touch with me to make sure the rest of my stay was nice. He also send up a very nice tray of snacks for me and my guest. Out of all the employees there I had spoken with Jonathan was the only one who knows what customer service is all about! You definitely need more people like him working for you.

Rooms were clean, pool was refreshing, walking distance to so much. The restaurant in the hotel served a great breakfast. It is directly across from Epicenter, so expect the loud music until a little after 1 a.m. Would stay again!

We pull in to the garage, roll windows down and none of what turn out to be the omni employees pay a lick of attention. We continue thinking maybe the valet is somewhere else. We call and do a big loop through uptown. The gentleman on the oboe is extremely nice and patient. When we got there we were told that they double booked our room and that we in turn got a double upgrade. We'd just drove 8 hours, it was at 3pm. The catch was, we'd have to wait till closer to 4 to check in. Cool, we'll go eat now and that would still give us time for our concert. Happy surprise. Come 4pm, we've heard nothing. Wife asks, about room and is told "you'll get a text when it's ready". Come 4:45 I go and ask and after the manager is bright up, am told they had a large stain on the carpet, not sure how long it will take to clean, might not be able to use the room at all now etc. But! We can get you the room you originally booked! (Ironic) Ok, but I've just waited almost 2 hours in funky driving clothes. We'd planed to take a nap and shower before the show. Now we are hoping to both fit showers in as we were leaving before 6. They knocked $100 of the rate. Awesome, fine, I need a shower. Room is ok. We get one right next to the elevators, so we have heard that all night and morning. Toilet paper holder is coming out of the wall and the bathroom area is super tiny. Which is odd considering the size of the room. Water was left spilled on one of the side tables. Another was dusty with something smudged over half of it. The bed posts are extremely loose, everytime we move the knock the wall a few times. So, most of the associates here were great. But the run around and noisy/messy room was a sad ending for our last two days of vacation.

Staff was pretty friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was nice but the rooms could've been a little bit cleaner (i.e. bathroom floor was a bit grimey) but definitely still clean in general. It was also a little noisy at night but we were staying on a Saturday so that was kind of expected. Overall consensus: I'd probably stay there again.

Located right in the middle of the city, right next to all the bars and clubs. The staff was friendly and polite. The rooms were nice and comfortable. My only problem was with the shower head; I wish it had different pressure settings. Overall all though, it was a great stay.

Omni takes care of their returning guests. I've stayed here many times and if there is an upgrade available they always extend it to me. I'm a big fan of their signature lounge with hot appetizers in the evening, complimentary sodas and snacks and Continental style breakfast options in the morning all at no charge for returning members.

Very clean hotel and love the easy access to faculties, such as the Charlotte athletic club (free admission when staying - they have a great steam room!) and free pressing of shirts (great time saver after unpacking).

Took care of my issue and the management does care about the hotel. The valet staff needs to let people know about there delays and management is working on resolving those issues. Overall a nice hotel and in a great location. Pricing is reasonable for the location as well.
