The decor and theme of this hotel is Vasques. I think... Anyway. I liked it a lot ;)
There are several restaurants in the hotel and also a gym and spa. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would recomend this hotel and would stay here again

The bed is the best I've ever slept in, the bathroom is superb, small things like Shampoo, Soap are high quality.
Onto the bar/breakfast area, where I'm currently sitting with Cortado in hand, lovely Jazz playing, Breakfast service is closed, but they make an exception, it's a feeling of personalized exclusivity.
The food. You won't feel guilty about not eating at other places in Madrid, the food is the best I've had in Madrid thus far, the 2 Brothers Restaurant is absolutely out of this world, If you're wanting to Wine and Dine a lady, or dazzle a client - This is the place.
You'll notice each staff member place their hand on their heart and look at you directly when they greet you.
This Hotel is for you, they're here. For you.

The hotel itself is very fresh and the interior design is very elegant. There is also a rooftop pool to be enjoyed during summers.
When booking make sure to get the 'red level' access. If will get you breakfast, refreshments, snacks and spirits until 23.00 every day in a separate lounge.
I also experienced the staff as very helpful and nice.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Find your room and it's glorious, with more space than most European city hotels. Replica classic artworks sir behind the bed, reminding you that this is a historic city, with a card detailing what the picture is and who the artist was left on the desk. A nice touch.
The bed is as you'd expect - huge and comfortable - while the bathroom is glass walled, but does have a privacy curtain to go around it.
Sadly I didn't eat at the hotel, but the bar staff make a mean Old Fashioned cocktail, so that's good enough for me.

I put my medication in the luggages, and I told the front desk that I would like my luggages as soon as possible. I waited for 15 minutes in my room for the luggages, desperately wanting to take the medication. While having never imagined that it would take that long for them to deliver my luggages, I called the reception, politely informing them I would like the luggages ASAP. After another five minutes wait, I called the reception again, and this time they told me again that they would "call again" to check on my luggages.
I got quite confused by what they were saying since it's apparent that the concierge and the place they put my luggage is, so why would they even "call" to check on my luggages instead of just asking the colleagues right there? Nonetheless, I waited and waited and realized that the only way for me to get my luggages was to go down and get the luggages my self.
So when I went down, I saw that my luggages were literally two steps away from the reception and concierge, and apparently nobody had yet the intention to send them upstairs after my 20 minutes wait... and the lady at the concierge stayed indifferent and just looked at me when I started to pull all my luggages to the elevator.
Well, if it were not for that I need my medication in the luggages, I would not call twice, insist and emphasize that I need my luggages ASAP despite of a half an hour wait (while a half an hour wait for luggages is definitely not common and not what we would expect for a five star hotel). Although their response was polite, I think the hotel should learn to take their customers seriously instead of just acting perfunctorily, given that I've been said the same thing three times, and I really mean it.
When we checked out, I asked the front desk to call a taxi to the airport, and he asked what terminal it is. I have no idea of which terminal it is and I don't have the ticket with me, so I asked if he can search it for me given that I know the flight company. He said again that his colleague would help me search for it, but it turned out that they did nothing about it, so I have to get on the taxi and search it myself.
This is the first time that I see a five star hotel act so perfunctorily according to their customers' demand, and I'm also shocked especially because it has such a high rating. So if you are considering staying here right now, my suggestion is to be prepared of their attitude and their real deed behind the scene.
Finally, two stars just for their comfortable bed.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was amazing, staff friendly and rooms spacious. Very central to everything Perfect place to stay. Madrid is one of Europes hidden gems I think better than Rome for price and its very friendly people
