I was there for a friend's wedding. We were a group of 40 persons and got a private room with a nice view in the parc Tivoli
The service was perfect.
Food is ok (we where at Nimb Brasserie)
And the decoration is with style and elegant.

Stayed in the new wing. Amazing hotel, right next to an old amusement park, for which we had free passes. Our room was very luxurious.

Brasserie at the Nimb

We are Canadian and ate dinner at the Nimb Hotel at the Brassier.
I've seen the majority of people were quite pleased with their meals.
The actual dining room was booked so we ate at the bar area served by the bartender. BTW - he was fantastic ... engaging and friendly and eager to please.

The downside was the meal. My husband had a rib-eye steak that was thin and grisly. He ordered it rare to medium rare and received medium well. He was disappointed. I had fried lobster which I'd never had cooked that way before, which was good. So we must have maybe had the odd bad steak (grisly- that happens) and maybe they're all thin rib-eye steaks.
We wouldn't go out of our way to stampede back.

The hotel was phenomenal and staff was amazing. We had 2 kids under 3 and they were very accommodating to us. Even when they messed up a room service order they made sure to get us what we needed quickly and refunded the previous order. Over the top service. Also right on the grounds of Tivoli Gardens with access to the park and all the rides included. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Copenhagen with kids.

Fancy place. Fancy hotel. Great and fancy atmosphere. Enjoy a drink in the bar room, or rent the place for your incredible people-will-talk-about-this-for-ages wedding. Want to impress a date? Go here. Want to live near the central station? Stay here.

If there were 10 💥's they would get them ALL here @nimbcopenhagen. Food, service, people, location, design, bar, in-room fire place (roaring as I write!), free standing bath, flowers, interior design, peacocks, in-room decanters, hygge, magical, tivoli gardens, romantic....everything a dream is made of.

Must be Copenhagen's best hotel. Recent expansion is nice as well. Great location, in Tivoli, and across from railroad and bus station. Makes it easy to get to anywhere.

Highly recommended - had an after-wedding-afternoon tea there with a company of 12 people, we all loved it and had a great time, it was perfect for the occasion. Grand bistro/cafe interior, spacious and well designed, Cosy. Afternoon tea snacks and tea and drinks were delicious and plenty, also in variation. Staff and hosting was excellent, very nice and comforting. Price reasonable for all offered and danish standards. We came through the Tivoli and back - perfect to combined it with a trip to the beautiful park.

We (13 family members) had a great birthday dinner. The waiters were very friendly and the food was sooo delicious! The restaurant is very stylish and the mirror hall is very beautiful. I'd love to go there again.

TL;DR: Food great, music great, service great

The food and athmosphere at the Bar'n'Grill Nimb is simply superb. A three course meal consisting of salmon starter, beef main course and chocolate cake dessert was crowned with the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 soundtrack playing in the background. Even the side fries for the main main course were prepared with uttermost passion towards the potatokind! The grill's choice for music alone deserves an extra star; 7/5 would visit again.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. We always stay here when in Copenhagen. The location is unbeatable - overlooking Tivoli Gardens the service is exceptional and understated and the rooms are beautifully appointed. Even the wifi is super fast - I wish there was a Nimb in every city.

Beautiful hotel overlooking Tivoli Gardens and right across the street from the train station (but not yucky). Rooms are pretty and modern but have a very antique feel to them. Lobby is small but the restaurant is spacious as is the upstairs bar area. Suites do not offer a truly separate area for sleeping so not great for families with children.

“Over-designed, thy name is Nimb”

Beautiful, great staff, great breakfast room service BUT overdesigned in the service of design. Now we love well designed spaces BUT there are no drawers, oops there are two under the breakfront. There are no useable surfaces, no hooks in the bathroom. The gorgeous flat screen tv cannot be seen from the bed and does not swivel. The Bang & Olafson phones are unuseable.....even after 2 lessons. That said, it's a wonderful place......and if you don't mind living in a rock concert till midnight or the clang of garbage trucks (we're from Manhattan and felt right at home) it's perfect. At the moment, the best hotel in town. We are told that the Angleterre is spending $200 million dollars to re-do. Hmmmmmm.

As another Google reviewer said (wish I could find a way to plus one his comments, because they are very helpful), this hotel is over designed in nearly every way. When you walk into your room, your first thought is 'Wow, this is gorgeous' - and it is. Beautiful materials, colors, Chinese antiques . . . It's like a very good magazine story on elegant yet rustic hotel interiors.

But then you notice that there's really no place to put things, and that some simple things, such as the phone, are very tricky to use.

On the positive side, the staff are extremely professional and helpful, the location (inside Tivoli, but with a street entrance) can't be beat, and the entire hotel has the same laid back, effortlessly cool vibe.

So, a beautiful, beautiful place to be, but not an especially convenient stay. Try it if you want to know you're not in a cookie cutter hotel, but stay away if you want the same old, same old experience.

Not sure if I was there at a bad time. But both the starter and dessert was bad. I was there in a group as well and some people had an bad stomach afterwards. Main dish was perfect

Was at Nimb bar for their afternoon tea and. Great service, cosy room with actual wood burning fireplace and wonderful experience with good food & great tea. The only small flaw is that hotel stay-in guests seem to go through the bar to their rooms as well and the sound/acoustic of the room can be improved.

We had a nice lunch here and enjoyed the view to Tivoli from inside, and also got to go outside on the balcony to look at the wonderful peacocks walking around.

Very disturbingly angry chef who made good steaks but had a terrible temper and was rude to both kitchen employees and waiters. When you're seated next to an open kitchen and pay that much for food you don't want a choleric drama queen spoiling your night. And the fries were terrible... as if they collected all the left over lunch fries and warmed them up.
This would have been a fun experience with homemade popcorn to watch the chef go apeshit. Not when you pay 450kr for a steak and want to have a romantic night out. Not recommending the place to anyone.

Worth every penny paid for and probably the best dinner I have had in in a very long time :) We were very comfortable there and pampered with extremely competent wait -staff. Each glass of wine selected matched perfectly with every course. The only things I have to complain about is that they could have perhaps gone a little easier on the lemon peel in the first course :) But that's a matter of taste. Also, staff should also check the state of their Toilets at shorter intervals - as the disposal bins were overflowing with paper waste which somehow did not match the overall quality of the restaurant. I keep meaning to blog about this place...will update as soon as its done.
